First Lewis -Holyfield fight: Lewis 429 landed punches, Holyfield 139. One of the worst robberies in HW history.

Hoylfield didn't have one continious prime, probably due to side effects of juicing. He was a lot sharper in the rematch against Lewis than he was againt Michael Moorer, Bowe third fight or Bobby Chyz at a much younger age.

Lewis was knocked out by natural HW's with big punches. Louis was knocked down by Braddock, Ali was knocked down by 188 pound Cooper. I don't see how Lewis' losses are more embarrasing.

Lewis beat all styles of fighters, brawlers, boxers, short, tall. He dominated dangerous fighters and good contenders , when Holyfield had to go life and death with almost every elite opponent who was in shape. H2H, Lewis could perhaps be the best HW ever. He was lucky against Vitali, just as most greats had a lucky moment. Overall, a great career.

they are genuine reasons for the rahman fight.

ignore that holyfield was much more past his prime when they fought? holyfield wasn't dead on his prime, granted, but he wasn't as past it as your trying to make out.the 2nd lewis fight was one of the best performances of holyfield's whole career:deal so your talking absolute **** on that front.

in 92-93 lewis loses? hahahahaha, lewis wanted the fight but holyfield didn't..just like a whole host of fighters didn't:deal

quite a few ringside journalists gave him the nod in the second fight? and there's a whole lot more people who believe there's a ****ing man in the sky..so what's your point? lewis won the fight hands down.

it's not propagander with the bowe fight..everyone know's what happened there..so if you want to come with a different story, be my guest.saying that lewis wasn't much of a draw at the time is a new one for me..i haven't heard that excuse before.you do talk some ****:hey

He wasn't down and out against McCall. He was on his feet by the count of 6 and the ref waved it off. He probably would have been stopped anyway, but who can say for sure? If the ref had counted up to 8. Asked him to hold his gloves up, and then waved the fight on, it would have been over 10 seconds since hitting the canvas and maybe he would have tied up McCall and seen out the round.

He was no more shakey on his feet that Corrales after the final KD he suffered against Castillo before coming back to win. He deserved the benefit of the doubt as the champion and with every second giving him a better chance to cling on.

    Roy Jones Junior
    Jersey Joe Walcott
    Ezzard Charles

    And more...
