Who the **** is this YOU GUYS you always post about? Look at this crap you replied with...
"If some western fighter lost...." We are talking specifically about Lewis and Vitali. Save your Anti-american generalization for someone else. There's no American in this fight anyway jackass....

Think it's the other way round, Vitali wouldn't be better in a rematch, he was in his physical prime gave it his all buoyed up by adrenalin/nervous tension and still got stopped. Lewis was overweight, arrogant, underestimated his opponent and clearly had no gameplan - slowly walking straightforward flatfooted with a high guard, looking to land bombs. First time in his career he'd ever fought like that, in fact I don't think there's anyway Lennox wouldn't have been better in a rematch.

Did you actually watch the interviews after the McCall rematch? Lol
Lennox actually acted like a p*ssy. He didn't throw punches when McCall was just walking around and talking to himself because as it's said by Lennox and Steward, they were suspicious that McCall was plotting something.I Ilike when people just read results on boxrec and don't even bother to watch fights and after fight interviews.

Lewis did think so. If he was going to carry on boxing, he said he would fight Vitali. He just decided to hang 'em up.
There have been people on boards like this pretending that Vitali won that fight for years. Lennox Lewis won. It
wasn't controversial, it wasn't close, there were 60 stitches and Vitali lost. Period. There was no mandate for a
rematch unless Lennox wanted to do it. He didn't. He wanted to retire healthy and have a great life. He did.

Oh, he didn't want to risk his health? You are starting to think in the right direction

He ran away from $50m because he knew it was a likely loss and his dirty boxing wouldn't work again, especially with a proper referee.

In general. He was not in any way afraid of Vitali. It was Vitali (injury boy) who was at risk. Keep in mind Vitali would have been
much easier to cut in the second go round. A rematch could have injured him out sooner than he did . Vitali got hurt often.

Had the fight continued, the cut would have gotten worse. Vitali would had to have knocked him out to win. But I think Lennox would only have won that on a stoppage by the doctor. I don’t think he would have knocked Vitali out or got a TKO from the referee.
