Now this is a long post. Let me preface by saying I scored the fight initially a draw or close to Lopez. However I have just rewatched the fight spending literally 20 minutes scoring each of the first supposedly 6 clean rounds. I scored by watching the fight in a combo of watching exhcnages in 0. 25 x speed and normal speed.

How I score the fight. Each punch landed no matter how significant I score between 1 to 5. 1 is very grazing or a touch shot. 5 is very clean.

If a right hand lands v clean and hurts the fighter I will score a 5/5 and I'll make note of this after tallying the score and take into account given the context of the entire round.

Now I have rounds 8 to 11 definitively to Lomachenko due to him landing at will. But I haven't rescored this the way I have here.

So Loma has four rounds 8 to 11..which is 116-112. All he needs is two more rounds for a draw.

I had Loma winning most of the first 7 after this rewatch but I'll demonstrate why Loma achieved the draw at least.

    Round 3:
Now you have to watch this carefully. Nothing lands at all face or body until 1:00 left of fight.

    Loma lands:
0:55.. Strong and very clean jab to the head. Score 5/5
Followed lighter but clean left to the body.
    3/5
0:35.. Power jab slash right hook to head.. 5/5

    Score: 3/5

    Lopez:
0:42 strong left hook to the body and right hook to body. Im not sure if both lands but ill give it to him. 10/5

0:34 no punch lands despite commentators outburst

    Lopez: 10/5

Score:Loma 13/5, Lopez 10/5. Both fighters land punches, but I score to Loma as he scores cleaner punching to the head. Granted Lopez one (possibly two ) body shot looked painful. Round for Loma, don't quite understand how you can score it based on Lopez's "work". Drink a shot everytime Timothy Bradley goes mmm when Lopez clearly misses a punch... So far if 8-11 is to Loma which I cannot see anyone scoring otherwise unless your stevie wonder, then it's 7-5 to Lopez. Next round is round 6...

    I stopped there.

You can't score a fight with 0.25% speed. At most you can watch it in silence.

    Round 6.
    Loma:
    2:42.. Strong jab 5/5
    1:40 strong jab 5/5
    1:37 strong jab 5/5
1:30 scuff right hook to head 1/5
0:57 two weak jabs but slightly more than pitty patty. 2/5
0:45 strong ish head jab 4/5
    0:24 same again 4/5

    Loma score: 26/5

    Lopez:
    2:30 strong body jab 4/5
    1:31 fair head jab 4/5
0:27 this does not land despite commentators. It hits Lomas elbow watch in slow mo and then normal speed.
Last exchanges Lopez supposedly lands an uppercut and right hand that commentators jizz themselves over. However watching the slow mo replay in slow mo lol and in normal speed(or slow mo lol) the uppercut does not actually connect and hits Lomas chest before grazing the chin.. Not sue it even grazes the chin tbh. Then Lopez lands what is a supposed right hand.. This does lands on chest but even then I'm pretty sure it just touches the chest.. I'll give Lopez the benefit of the doubt and give him 5/5 (even tho really it should be 0). Lomachenko was not hurt there.

    That's Lopez : 13/5 ( should be 8/5)
Loma had 26/5. It is clear this round is a clear Loma round and even if Lopez did land that uppercut clean, which he did not, this would still be a Loma round

So that's 6-6..i cba to go over rounds but this has pissed me off completely how the masses believe Lopez won.

Bro, at least critique it properly. All good saying that but boxing involves actually landing punches. If Lopez is getting out landed with more shots that are headshots but is chasing him around the ring this can't be classified as ring generalship or effective aggressive.

But that's not how fights are scored, so while your analysis is interesting, it's also not relevant either

Read my third comment. I'm looking at landed punches because this is clearly a big factor in how ia fight scored. Silly to minimise it. I'm still incorporating ring generalship and effective aggression into account.

Not only this but I'm thinking about taking into account sefense.. I saw absolute minimal headshots from Lopez absolute minimal. He couldn't even land a clean head jab on Loma throughout.

You've invented a 1-5 punch scoring system that judges don't use. Like I say interesting but not relevant...

You failed to understand that I said and normal speed. I watched back in normal and slow motion so I can see get a better understanding of how clean and apparent impact of the punch.
