It's absolute outrageous bro.. On my second watch I was disgusted and especially so as so many actually think Lopez won convincingly. 100% not the case, Loma won the fight and was robbed

Oh cool so you aren't able to score rounds 3 and 6 and provide your reasoning.. That's hilarious

Yeah both rounds 3 and 6 are Lopez rounds.

He was the clear ring general. Loma was doing nothing, it took until round 8 for him to throw any meaningful punches.

Lopez was winning the rounds by default by doing more than Loma without leaving openings.

The fact anyone wants to rewatch 2 dull rounds at a quarter of the speed in the hope that their man can claim victory is laughable.

Lopez is a very clear winner here.

Wow omg this is your analysis? Very detailed I see.

None of you are able to properly give a detailed reasoning debunking my score

No one watches a fight at a quarter of the speed.

There's wasn't a lot to watch in either rounds you mentioned.

Loma didn't do enough to warrant any detailed analysis.

He wasn't robbed but the fight was 50% a draw, 35% Lopez win and 15% Loma win.
The judges scorecards were disgraceful. 119-109... this makes me think that Loma wouldn't have won even if he dominated, luckily Lopez won 6-7 rounds so the right man got the nod.

Ok man I accepted the challenge. I have a shitload work to do, but this is too interesting.. :)

First, just a comment on the fairness of judging - I first would like to have fair judging with all statistics involved and all the time in the world for judges to rewatch fight a few times. That would mean that the results of the close fights like this would be shown 3 days after the fight. Today, we still have an old school scoring system, and that is how it is. You can't change that for now. That's why I think that anyone's scorecard should be made from the first watching.

Now on 3rd and 6th round analysis:

    3rd round

The first minute of the 3rd round goes with Lopez jabbing (without landing), and Loma moving backward without throwing a punch.

Lopez attacks at the end of the first minute, Loma blocks with gloves without counter punch.

Teo putting combination in 1:45, misses, no counter punch by Loma.

Loma not even trying to land the first 2min.

In 01:00, Teo again with combination, lands on gloves.

Loma trying to land the first time in the round in 0:50, lands a fast jab.

00:45 Loma trying to turn Teo with a side jump, Teo lands a bodyshot and continues to attack Loma goes backward without trying to counterpunch.

00:35 Teo got Loma on ropes, going again with a combination of punches, landing on gloves.

00:30 Loma escapes from ropes, Teo tries with a jab, misses, Loma counter punch with his own fast jab and lands.

00:10 Teo goes with one more attack, landing on gloves.

00:05 Loma tries to land with a straight left, Teo slips and turns and misses with the counter.

    Conclusion of 3rd round:

    Punching:

Teo landing on Loma's gloves 4 times in a round and one clean body punch.

Loma landing two fast (but weak) jabs.

Btw, landing on gloves can cause damage also, the head absorbs some percent of the punch landed on gloves, keep that in mind when scoring a fight, especially when the one who lands on the gloves is a puncher like Teo.

    Ring generalship:

Teo pushing fight the whole round, Loma goes backward. I have no problem if you go backward and punch, but this was managing distance, trying to tire Teo, and giving the round on purpose. Loma was trying to steal the round in the last minute which he didn't accomplish. If Loma landed his last punch in the round (straight left), he would maybe succeed in stealing the round, but it didn't happen.

    Result:

    Lopez 10:09

    6th round

They both start with jabbing, Teo doubles the jab, in 02:45 tries body uppercut, misses, no counter punch coming from Loma.

02:42 Loma lands a quick jab.

02:27 Lopez goes with the body-head combination – first lands with a jab to the body, and two punches lands on gloves of Loma. Loma goes backward, Lopez jumps with a left-right combination, landing through gloves on Loma's face. Loma keeps circling.

02:20 Teo tries slow left hook, misses, Loma misses with counter punch. Teo continues to push forward with jabs, Loma doing slips, and goes backward.

02:00 Teo tries to land with the right hand, lands on gloves, no counter punch by Loma, he keeps circling.

01:40 Loma lands a quick jab, and one more second later. They keep jabbing, Lopez lands a jab on gloves.

01:30 Loma lands a quick combination. Lopez a few times tries to land but misses.

Quick short left hook (check hook) by Lopez at 00:55 while Loma tries to go forward. Loma tries to land, dunno if he connected but it was weak.

00:26 Lopez lands a right hand to the body.

00:23 Loma lands a counter jab.

Lopez ends the round with uppercut and straight right (not sure if those two punches connected).

    Conclusion of 6th round:

    Punching:

Clean punch Teo landed was check hook in 00:55. Other maybe clean punches (can't see from this camera angle) were 02:25 through gloves and right hands at the end of the round. Other times he connected were few jabs to the body and punches on the Loma's gloves about 3 times.

Loma landed three fast jabs and had landed a quick combination in 01:30.

    Ring generalship:

Loma started to wake up in this round, showing teeth to Lopez, landing a few quick jabs and a fast combination. These punches didn't stagger Lopez, but it maybe started to affect him mentally and for sure he was trying to adapt. Nevertheless, Lopez was pushing the fight most of the round and landed few punches of his own.

Result: This round was hard to score, it could go either way. I think I gave it to Loma after the first watch, but not sure.

The only thing Lomachenko was robbed of was getting his own behind KTFO in the last 10 seconds of round 12 when the referee decided to halt the action (of Lopez paddling Lose-a-chenko) after yet another dirty & disgraceful Loma headbutt that opened up a cut on Lopez.

    Really?

Did Loma congratulate Teo or his team after the fight?

Did Loma give a thanks to the small number of fans in attendance or the ones watching on CCTV or in their homes?

Did Loma stay in the ring to be interviewed post-fight?

Did Loma attend the post-fight press conference?

He scurried out the ring like a little rat. Just like Adrien Broner when Maidana paddled him. Loma, the arrogant, surly, sneering creep who turns his nose at Teo, Teo father and anyone else who doesn't worship him. I'm glad Teo served him a nice big slice of humble Ukrainian pie.

You have every right to see it the way you want, it was a close fight. But most people say Lopez won 7-5.

If we scale down Lopez by 2% Loma punches would have landed harder and cleaner, he might have stopped Lopez. That is almost 0.5" difference, it makes that much difference, something every boxer should think about before stepping into a higher weight class!
