After pacman defeated cotto, Sky sports in england had an exclusive interview with 'Money' Mayweather, it was a very in-depth interview. 45 minutes long, they have taken the 45 min off the site but have left the 25 minutes intervew

Anyway, mayweather is clearly asked what is more important to him, money or legacy?

his answer is money, look for yourselves, he says he cant lose by fighting pacman because win or lose he makes around 70m. mayweather wants his pension, he wants to retire by making 200-300m. he was never retired, just increasing his reputation by going on various shows.

Mayweather fights for one thing MONEY. he knows he wont make half as much as against pacman fighting against any other fighter, the man will come back and lay the drug thing off to a certain extent to get pacman to fight and i promise you if he loses to pacman he has a rematch clause to make another 70m by fighting him the 2nd time.

Mayweather is back only for money, pacman is the quickest and easiest way to make that money, the fight will happen.

The fight will happen but when. Too much money involved not too and dpends who caves in. Everyone wants to see it in 2010. Like you said Floyd will probably see sense and agree some terms to this testing thing if he is serious. But if loses will start to accuse pac of cheating. His dad clearly doesnt want him to figh pac. What Floyd has to work out is if he loses will his urning potential go down

Floyd does fight for legacy, but he's a perfectionist with pride who won't admit that it's not just all about the money...that plus he likes taking the villian role, it sells in any fight at his status in the sport, no matter who he fights

I agree and only a fool would advise him to take another fight and risk this payday which could go away if Manny were to retire or one of two fighters should lose.

The fight has to be made and I think by saturday everyone will be friends again.

I think the fight has to happen in March. Any later date is too much inactivity for Mayweather and I mean after seeing Mayweather in his bogus ass mismatch with Marquez, who the hell wants to see him vs anyone else? Aside from fighting Mosley, there is nothing even compared to a fight with pacman as far as draw/money goes.
