    Cotto is one dumb mofo. The dude should have fought Pac for a good payday and retired if he had too. He would have netted close to 10mills for the Pac fight, instead he took the Trout fight for 1mill :lol::patsch.

    He did that until he could. The time for that is long gone, he'll be making a million or two per fight if he does that.

    I don't know if Marquez or Bradley beat him. Both are as short as he is and have no physical advantage over him except Tim, and that is speed. Tim punches like a flyweight and isn't a superior boxer. JMM is older, slower, and may not have enough pop to keep a full-blown jr. middleweight off of him. And this is coming from someone who has never thought too highly of Miguel Cotto.

    why would he retire? he got beat by a bigger, hungrier , younger guy. People knew that weight division would be tough. I still think the Trout fight was a bad matchup for him but he could have a great duel with Canelo.

    I say Cotto has a couple of great fights left in him, Hes still one of the top fighters in the sport . I see him giving Bradley a boxing lesson .

    Whatever great he had is all gone. All he did against Trout is just look at him and take whatever he brought without responding. Defense at his worst, not a top fighter anymore. Going to welter is even worse, Bradley beats him now by outboxing him, he's too fast for Cotto honestly.

    Cotto has shown he can hold his own when it comes to fighters with a speed advantage . (Judah,Mosley) I quite frankly believes he has better boxing skills than Bradley IMO .

    Both Judah and Mosley weren't on his prime and still gave him trouble. Bradley is prime and faster than both. Cotto may possess better boxing skills, but he'll go and chase Bradley because he feels like the bigger man.

    If you want Cotto to be a stepstone then yes...

    Cotto is even more damaged than the one who fought Pacquiao. And like I said, a move to welter after 3 years fighting above that weight might ruin the little he has left in him, he's got no steam in his punches. Marquez didn't look all that good on Saturday, but I'll pick him as a favorite for this fight (by decision).

    Depends if the ones you refer are Berto, Ortiz, Khan in which I don't think any fulfill his $5 million reasons to fight them (yes) or rematches with the ones that guaranteed him money Pacquiao, Mayweather, or the beating he gets from Canelo (no).
