while I agree with you, are you saying that if they fought one another Sportscenter wouldnt be letting everyone within range know about it?

are you sugesting that if the two best heavyweights on the planet fought each other and they just happened to be brothers it wouldnt pull in huge numbers?

your not actualy suggesting that are you?

Exactly. When you have one controlling organization setting up fights, ranking fighters, etc.. its easy to get the fights made.

They do it, else they don't work. Plain and simple.

Fedor vs. Lesnar won't happen because Strikeforce and UFC won't likely be able to come to terms... just like Pac - Mayweather, Vitali - Valuev and many others.

My other gripe about the UFC is that the fighters are not as seasoned.

Many had little or no amateur background, and they get in there and pound on each other.

You know, one thing that bothers me though about UFC is that I will never get as excited for one of those bouts as I was for Corrales vs Castillo or something of the sort.. you know?

UFC is either over in seconds, or a long street fight more or less.. A boxing match has a certain elegance to it, even the brutal ones

Tell PBF and Pac that boxing is dying and they will throw a wad of 100s in ur face.

They are making millions while MMA fighters are making nickels and dimes.

I agree. Boxing is a more disciplined sport.

UFC fighters do a lot of training, and have some skills, but the whole thing reminds me of WWF wrestling...except not fake.

I wouldnt wanna watch it. Its sick. Boxing is a dangerous sport enough as it is and to have to embarrass your brother on world wide TV, hurt or permanently damage him for the sake of money and prestige is disgusting. Im sure their mother will be very proud too.

It may get publicity cos it would be a circus match, but I would bet that it will cast boxing in a negative light. Boxing has been seen as a brutal sport, this is just more ammunition against it.

i don't understand why people are obsessed with seeing the klits fight each other. i don't care how much money is on the line, you're a punk if you're willing to fight and potentially injure your own brother (imagine if one of them ended up like Watson/ McLellan at the hands of the other)

I am not suggesting anything. I said I don't want to see them fight and from what I can tell there is not a strong movement to get them to fight. Who cares if Sportscenter says something about the fight? My point is when you are pointing out fights that should have been made, this isn't one of them. This fight doesn't get made in MMA or boxing. Do you think Dana White would force two brothers to fight each other? If so I think even less of that clown.

The fighters would say no if it meant they were resricted to the pay UFC fighters get. A UFC PPV could sell 1 mil buys and that main event fighter will never earn $10 mil from that PPV

At the end of the day. I would rather watch two warriors standing on their feet giving it all they have got then two ****ing animals rolling around on the floor trying to get on top of each other. If I wanted to see that, I would wait outside the local pub at 2 in morning for the drunks to come out. I have watched bits of MMA and UFC and some parts are fairly entertaining, the different styles and the quick knock-outs are fine, but when I see a man sitting on top of another one, repeatedly hitting him in the face while he can't defend himself, with blood everywhere? Well thats where I draw the line at ****in' "entertainment". Anyway, I think UFC and MMA are fairly new in terms of mainstream sports, its just having its time to shine and down the line it will quieten down and boxing will still be here with all the fresh young blood talent coming through.
