Also, there will NEVER be a Muhammad Ali of UFC/MMA. UFC/MMA just don't have any characters like that and It never will.

I love how all these MMA fanboys same the same thing.

Sorry, kiddo, but all MMA matches are starting to look the same and people are buying less and less of it as a result. MMA sucks, that' sthe bottom line.

Mma has variety. You can win by submission which is entertaining on it's own (as long as they don't spend 4 minutes humping each other to get to that point). From stand up are concern some of them are skilled the once with Boxing or Muay Thai experience atleast anyway. But the majority of these fighters came from wrestling backgrounds and are shite at strikes.I just saw BISPING trying to (BOX) throwing the gayest JABS and right straight I have ever seen.I knew SIlva would have a right fly over that JAB and it would be over which did happen LOL.Nogeura another wrestler was KTFO by a skilled BOxer/wrestler.Which shows the damage a trained up BOXER can do in MMA.It is because they have no chin or the gloves have no paddings at all that there's so many KTFO.A strong elite boxer whould KTFO these elite wrestlers in one round their striking game isn't on a BOXERs level.

I think its about $400 - $500k. Lesnar got $400k at UFC 100. He would of got money from the PPV as well. Probably made about $3 mil in total.

Circus act lesnar gets a belt in 4 fights

they sign bimbo slice who sucks just to make money

    over priced PPV

    Over priced tickets

no wonder they make so much money they dick the fans

The last 3 cards i saw were boring or ended wit hthe first real punch

boxing used to be bare knuckle and the fights would go longer

Any good fight becomes a 30 sec KO or a boring roll lay fest

I usd to appreciate UFC but boxing is so much better in so many more areas

wasn't that guy mir the champ going into that fight? if that is true that seems insane. The heavyweight champ made less then 50 grand for a fight.

even if he wasn't the champ it seems like the fighters get screwed in that sport because they have no bargining power. Really a shame considering they are the ones at risk

Um, MMA has a more dominant champion RIGHT NOW then Ali ever was...FEDOR dosen't go life and death with smaller fighters (Frasier) he dosen't lose (Ali did and got a few gifts)...And well Fedor is a gentleman... Ali was a "character"..As u put it.. I'm a bigger boxing fan. However, i'm objective. Also, to be honest, I enjoy sportsman to braggerts..

MMA in its current popular state (UFC/cage fighting) is a fad which is just slightly past the pinnacle in popularity. Judo was once insanely popular in the united states as well, but quickly died out due to a lack of devoted fans. Boxing has reached legendary scale and will always be around in a major way. UFC will die down but mma will always exist though never with the kind of devoted fanbase that boxing has.
