Why Moses will never come back

Wlad possessed all the talent in the world and great physical gifts but after he lost to Puritty he fought a savage puncher in Sanders and got smoked in 2 rounds

Then he lost to Brewster

Sure he came back from all those setbacks and adversity to have an incredible career and reign for a decade but he ran into a murderous puncher in Sanders and suffered by far the most resounding defeat of his career

He gets crucified for those 3 losses even though 2 of them were fights he was dominating before running out of gas and the one vs Brewster possibly being due to foul play.

Moses could come back to dominate the division for a decade but he could also run into a savage puncher like Wlad did before doing so or even during his reign

Sure most HWs are not going to be able to withstand the punishment the freakishly tough Hrgovic did against him but, likewise, Moses is going to encounter harder or much harder punchers than Hrgovic during his journey, quicker punchers than Hrgovic, and world class and elite HWs who are not the perfect stylistic match up for him to make him look good like Hrgovic was so we can't just act like it's a formality that he's going to be the dominant HW of a generation.

His future is bright but the HW division is a perilous minefield and when you're facing elite punchers and world class ones who are quick for the size or quick enough to land with their bombs or even just one bomb at the right time it can and very often does result in a KO or TKO loss and can change or even ruin a career in the blink off an eye

 

He will be back.....as a Tommy Morrison or Frank Bruno type fighter. He's too arrogant to change. His whole method of fighting is to give everything 100% until the opponent falls. That only works for certain fighters like Isaac Cruz, and he only gets away with because of the smaller muscle size and top tier conditioning, and even then you can see his output drop dramatically in the later part of a fight.

Force Moses to be more cautious and throw less punches and he is no longer Moses Itauma. That also allows his opponents to do their gameplan. If he fought that way against Hrgovic he would have been pieced up when Hrgovic presses forward because of Moses' lower output.

But he won't change. He thinks bench pressing 315lbs is something to be proud of in boxing. He thinks you don't need a chin. He doesn't like to spar 12 rounds. He even thought if Wardley had won against Dubois, Wardley would have stepped down so HE could fight for that title. The delusion and arrogance!

Sorry, Moses Itauma is going to get stopped again. I see it clearly with Kabayel, who will take whatever punch he has just like Hergovic did. But Kabayel will also punish the body, force inside fighting, and catch a tiring Itauma with a vicious uppercut at around the 5th round.

This is what happens when you push hype jobs from the very beginning like what the British Media did to this kid.
