People want to see the fight because it's the top 2 guys in the division fighting each other. I don't know why some people are so bothered by fight fans wanting to see the best fight the best.

Cotto isn't a big name ... and just DLH, PBF is in that class where you have to bring something to the table to face him. If you're going to get the biggest payday of his career (Cotto) then you have to earn you way to the top.

Yeah he's the number #1 contender, which means he's in the drivers seat to land a fight w/ PBF ...

DLH has been in the game since 92' ... Floyd has been calling him out since 2000 ... It took Floyd 7 years to land a fight w/ DLH ... it took him 7 years to prove himself.

DLH said the same thing about PBF - that PBF is saying about Cotto ... he needs to get his weight up.

Floyd had to actually fight some WW's and he had to win the WW championship.

at the time that the fight was being discussed ... DLH was inactive himself.

This is just an example of history repeating itself ... the topic first came about in 05 ... and its slated to take place in 09 ...

The only difference is Mayweather is in his prime and was hitting his stride when he faced DLH ... Cotto will be facing a prime PBF at the top of his game ... a 12 year vet who has 18 championship fights.

Its going to be tough for Cotto to manage -- Mayweather's experience is a valueable key when mentioning this fight.

    Nah, that ain't funny.

    That's the truth.

Did you not see Estrada in there with Cintron and Berto? What the **** is wrong with you? I mean, seriously what the **** is wrong with you?

Like I said, go ahead and slap yourself.

    :patsch

The mother ****er can fight. He's not just some punk ass ***** that was happy to be in the ring with Mosley. He made Mosley fight. The guy is like glue and sticks to mother ****ers for the whole fight. If he gave Cintron a shitload of trouble and his style was MADE for Cintron considering Cintron supposedly has the most power at WW, why in the **** would you think he's just a stepping stone?

He might be gate keeper status and he might be on the downside of his career, especially after the beating Berto put on him, (don't misjudge though cuz Berto got hit about 300 times and a lot of rounds could have gone to Estrada), but he's a HARD FIGHT.

    Get it straight.

Berto broke his nose and stopped him -- he was taking too much punishment. Yeah he caught Berto, but thats the knock on Berto he takes too many punches ... and the fight w/ Estrada further proved that. Hence - "stepping stone"

Cintron also takes alot of shots and was coming off a KO loss to Margarito and i'm sure that was weighing on his mind.

Estrada is a fighter ... he fights for a living ... but he's nothing when you mention elite fighters.

He's a stepping stone for guys who are looking to go up a level or a good fighter coming off a loss.

I didn't say anything about him not being game ... i'm talking about him not being a good fighter ... he's just a tough opponent ...

When did he beat a formidable guy who acheived something?

capfunds ... you never disagreed with what I said ... if anything you further proved what I wrote was right.

he's a hard fight ... but nothing more than a stepping stone and a win against him means nothing.

he's a game fighter and never stops coming but - SSM beat him, Berto beat him and Cintron beat him ... they didn't get any credit for beating him and it was just a measurment to see where they were at.

It was a fight that SSM took moving back down to WW ...

I don't think that means anything and for you to throw his name out there doesn't mean anything -- you act as if he was a champion or something.

I give Mosley credit for beating Collazo but thats it ...

You said he was a nothing but a SPARRING MATCH.

You talk all this **** on a daily basis about how people can't talk **** on Mayweather because he has the balls to step in the ring while everday people don't, then you disrespect Estrada by saying he's nothing more than a sparring partener.

Get your **** straight cuz you're starting to sound like a politician.

Most of these dumb ****s don't even realize that PBF tried to fight Cotto at 140 back in 2005.:deal But now all of a sudden he's ducking him.:-( These PBF haters will say anything to make PBF look bad and never give him credit when his wins. I remember how many of them said PBF ducked Hatton at 140 and would lose to him but when PBF fought him and knocked him out Hatton was never any good to begin with and he was too small. If PBF fights and beats Cotto they will say the same thing about him as well:deal

But the problem with what you are saying is that contrary to what you and other floyd fans believe, FLOYD IS NOT IN DLH'S POSITION. He only thinks he is. PBF has not done the things that oscar has done. Yes, he won a few belts. So what. But DLH legitimately fought the best out there. He never asked what did fighters bring to the table. He only started doing that at the end of his career. Oscar is at a point where he only cares about money. Oscar's legacy has been cemented for years b/c he fought the best during his prime.

Floyd only thinks he has fought the best, but clearly has not. That is the difference my friend.

You can pretend all you want that Floyd has the right to short change you and all other fans, but he doesnt.

If anything you should be ashamed of your boy for not making this fight.

He alone has the power to make it happen.
