Man, step into the real world.

You may get a few pundits talking up PAcquiao, to get some media interest, and a heap of web hits, but Pacquiao's never appeared in any serious top 20.

Most people can think of 10 heavyweights with better resumes than Pacquiao

Man, that's opinion. Subjective. Fans think different things.

No ones ever won in 8 weight classes.

No ones ever retired unbeaten with the resume Mayweather has.

You're talking unbeaten over 5 freaking weight classes.

That's it. But then he went way up in weight and decimated DLH, Hatton, Cotto, Clottey (he flat out quit) and Margarito.

I find these arguments pretty subjective.

Personally, I don't see much difference in Floyd and Manny's resumes. Floyd has just made it look a bit easier.

As in, do you seriously think if Manny had roasted Marquez and mosely in his last 2 fights, at any weight division, the world wouldn't be crowning him even more than they are now?

Man, the only fights of that series, in which the opponent was anything close to being peak was

    Barrera 1
    Morales 1
    Marquez 1 and 2

And in reality Morales wasn't even peak when he beat pacquiao. Let alone lose,

Pacquiao struggled in most of those fights

Man, the best Super Featherweight Pacquiao fought, wouldn't break any all time top 100.

We'll have to wait until they both retire to see how history will rate these 2 fighters.

Hmmmm, I was just coming out with a random figure with 10, but heavyweights who've got better wins on their resume than Pacquiao?

    Jim Corbett
    Joe Walcott
    Sonny Liston
    Jack Dempsey
    Jack Johnson
    Joe Louis
    Muhammed Ali

That's 7. I'd say at least 5 are guaranteed to be ahead of Pacquiao on any all time great list.

so what about 4 lineal title in 4 weight class, has anybody done that? it's easy for someone with floyd's skill to be undefeated if you keep ducking your toughest match, cotto in 2008 and pac currently.

    Man, he wasn't green.

He was as bad in those fights as he was against Marquez in the rematch 18 months ago.

Just a superior class of opposition.

Man, Floyd's beaten 3 linear champions, and not lost to anybody

Man, as for ducking, this is just how boxing is.

There is as much evidence Pacquiao ducked Marquez, Mosely, Williams and Martinez than Floyd with Cotto or margarito.

As in, they've all repeatedly called him out, and he's fought weaker opposition instead

Pacquiao/Mosely was a more obvious duck than Cotto/Mayweather

    at least equal.

    As for Pacquiao/Marquez?
