Why no post-fight interview for Whyte/Chisora?

One of the best heavyweight fights I've seen in ages. Probably my fight of the year. Absolute respect to both men. They gave us a great fight and came out the ring healthy.

If they don't patch up their differences after that then it would be such a pity! No one would lose face on the street if they patched things up after that.

 

In an interview after Whyte still sounded a bit idiotic to me, I know fighters do this but saying he was never hurt and won so easy there is no need for a rematch is off putting. This fight deserves a rematch but sounds like he will avoid it like the plague after a lucky points win. I would have admired him much more if he said it was at least a very close fight, not a big fan of the man....

 

Whyte in a Sky interview afterwards said he wasn't giving Chisora a rematch. I had it to Chisora by a couple of rounds.

 

I m the same not a big fan of the man...but after last night he gets a pass from me. Two absolute warriors. Chisora won the fight...they basically jobbed him. Threw the much harder shots. And seemed to take whytes shots much better than the other way round.

Think for once and for all it puts to bed that chisora isnt just a british level plodder. Hes a very good fighter always has been. Just a little below the top of the division but a good fighter all the same. If he was managed slightly better he could have maybe had a better shot of things.

Great fight from both men. I d prefer whyte to swerve the rematch tbh...as great as the fight was as an up and coming fighter fights like that will deteriorate you quickly. Lets see him get a well managed run of things. Chisora could still have another crack at things as well. Both will end up finishing each other otherwise.

Great great fight tho. Both deserve the plaudits after the troubled build up.

 

Insane how he's giving an interview after a near life and death fight and he looks like he never even fought. These fighters are so genetically superior to us non-fighters it's not even funny.

 

Had Chisora 7-5. Whyte is an idiot, everyone wants to see a rematch.

 

Joshua hasn't fought anyone who has tried to rush him. The closest was Whyte and Joshua looked pretty disorganized and gassed there. The old 'throwing no punches' gambit has been given a go by the last three opponents, I wouldn't recommend that one.

 

AJ doesn't like anyone getting more attention than him Sky should of cut short his ridiculous drawn out egotistical entrance and interviewed the boxers that saved the show
