Why no Winky-Pavlik talk?

    Winky officially drew with Taylor a year or so ago. However many had Winky winning (I had i level or a 7-5 to Winky). Pavlik has just come off back to back wins against Taylor 1 controversal and another dramatic.

    Winky may have lost at 175 to BHOPs BUT 160 is clearly Winky's best weight and there is no better challenger than Winky Wright at 160.

    Interesting contest that no one mentions......Duddy (C Level), Tito (DONE), Lee (green), Abraham (B Level) are not better contests

    Yeah I don't know why they dont talk about Winky, maybe cause a fight with Wink isnt really a draw (I would watch it though).

    I'd like to see it, but Tito gets Pavlik some money which he deserves. After Tito, Winky, after Winky (win or lose) Abraham (either to unify or get another belt). I dont really know what he should do after that. Not a ton of top Middleweights for him to challenge. But that never stopped Bhop!

    That would be good, haven't heard nothing from Wink since the B-Hop fight.

    Well, a little over a year.

    But I'm glad someone here has some sense. Winky is overrated. He's old. He ducks big fights, he cries like a baby when a close decision doesn't go his way. And he's BORING AS ****, his last fight wasn't even at middleweight, AND isnt ANYONE else ****ing sick of seeing the same old guys fight one another?

    what i dont understand is how is winky in most peoples top 10 p4p list when he hasn't doen **** since beating shane and tito 3 years ago?

    I doubt Pavlik wants to fight him because it won't be big money and he'll be a real tough fight. I suspect he'll have some huge shootout with Duddy, then maybe Trinidad if he can lose the weight.

    Because Winky is a piece of **** who thinks he can chose and dictate who he wants to fight.

    If he is interested in this fight a lot of noises should have been made by him and his camp long long time ago.

    Winky needs to get in the ****ing ring with somebody and win before he gets another title shot. Right now, it seems like Winky's ducking boxing.

    Winky - Pavlik is a great clash of styles.

    Would be a great fight if Wright had any desire left....

    Pavlik is not "a money man" rightnow . . . that's a lame arguement. He said he is willing to fight Sturm and Abraham to prove himself and get recognition. Fighting Winky may not be the biggest money fight but it will definitely give him more money than fighting Sturm or Abraham . . . despite Winky's inactiveness he is still inside the TOP 10 p4p list.
