Why no Winky-Pavlik talk?

I agree 100%.

Boxing fans move as quick as lava in picking up new guys, and letting the old faded guys go.

Why do you think RJJ, Tito and Hopkins are still fighting? Surely nobody truly believes those guys are the best in their divisions?

 

There are plenty of fights out there for winky. I know his style is boring and he hasn't done anything in over a year BUT you can't take away his resume. Winky wants the big fights and big money but has to realize that staying idle doesn't get you to where you want to be. Wink should take on RJJ for the big name fight. Take on Pav for the belt. Take on JT to get the W he deserved. Wink is old and isn't geting younger so something has to happen soon or boxing will pass him by.

 

Pavlik's promoter said already that they won't fight Winky yet, but I doubt that this fight will ever happen. It's a bad fight for Pavlik, one that he'd probably lose. I would like to see this fight but I think Winky wins UD. Winky would move forward and use that fortress like defense and eventually Pavlik would start (having no choice) to back up.

 

Winky is pretty much past it now.

Pavlik would dominate the fight.
