Try googling before ya make stuff up.

Hair is the only way to test for DHEA, which is illegal under WADA yet going by WADA they have no way to test for it. This is why the AFLD, the french doping Nazi's use hair. Btw, DHEA is a steroid booster.

AFLD's standards of testing exceed WADA and makes USADA look like a buncha clams.

Whatcha want to know? The blood test can detect HGH in a very small window in a lab, but its yielded ZERO results in over a decade of use. This really nullifies its usefulness in reality.

The beta urine HGH test which uses nano technology is much more reliable, but its not been adopted yet. AFAIK, they still need to establish a baseline for normal HGH levels in urine before they move on.

and EPO...looks like WADA still uses urine for EPO and blood for another type of EPO, but this is a bit old:

hell, if hair can accurately test for EPO/HGH, i don't see why the damn boxing commissions can't get their **** together

PED use have become more sophisticated and currently, PED detection is playing catch up - as you can see with almost every sport. Discovery of a new tests is just one, standards and procedures needs to be agreed upon. With millions of dollars and the top athletes, agents, sponsors, etc involve you can imagine how long a specific test will be adopted by any sanctioning body.

how? the prime reasons for the blood testing is EPO and HGH...and as far as I can tell....hair is not suitable for those

Blood can't detect EPO afaik, since in the blood rhEPO and natural EPO are almost indistinguishable and instead blood count levels. Urine testing on the other hand uses a detergent that affects, or is only supposed to affect the rhEPO which then allows testers to distinguish between real and fake EPO.

This is why the urine EPO test is the only LEGAL test for EPO. Why is this?

It is because an athlete can have unusually high RBC count from special training or from living in high altitude. With blood testing, you can't tell the difference and thus you can not legally prove it was by doping that someone has high EPO levels.

Urine can on the other hand which is why it is the only LEGAL method. Blood on the other hand is used as a general screener. Everyone whose had a high RBC count, will then get singled out for the urine test. But they need to do it right away as EPO doesn't stay in the urine very long.

Hair is really for DHEA testing, and well to use as a longterm screener like blood.

If you want a bombshell, there is much scientific research to show that even the urine EPO test is based on false science. But that's a whole other can of worms.

Just ignore that, I'm not here to own anyone just to get the info out there.

I can believe that. Like crimson pointed out, the tests are always playing catch-up....that's why Conte could evade them...*******s
