Why not Hoya-Mayweather rematch, instead of Matthew Hatton talks?

What??? Hell no. What's the point of that? **** at this point even Matthew Hatton has a good chance of beating Oscar. Canelo Alvarez is a rising star and already is getting a strong following and he'd be much more competitive than Oscar. Oscar's a shell of his former self. Floyd should just fight the Mosley-Berto winner. There's $$$ in that fight.

DLH is retired, I havent seen him lately but he used to get fat in between fights. Actually the last I remember seeing him he didnt look fat. But even ignoring that he is shot, he wouldnt be in fighting form by March. And considering that he is shot, the public isnt going to want to see that.

Does it have to have a point???? Does the Mayweather-JMM have a point???

For one, ODLH mentioned about planning to unretire, apparently after seeing Cotto dismantled. Meaning he was thinking that if Cotto was dismantled like that, then there is nothing wrong with him but rather that Pac is the main culprit, the same reasoning that Ricky Hatton is using now.

The only reason that this fight is I think going to happen is because it makes economic sense - two AMERICAN fighters, with very strong following in the states. If the first fight made 2.4 million PPV,even half of that is still better than any number that matthew hatyton fight would generate.

As to the idiots who are mentioning that Pac is ducking Mayweather that is why we are discussing this, go start another thread.

    The thread is simple enough.

There was a rematch clause and there were already preliminary moves to have the rematch when Floyd suddenly retired. So why not? The fight would be a very good farewell match to once again retire, until the next unretiring again.

I would bet that even if we don't want this fight, it is going to happen!!!!!!!!!!

It is as if you don't know how the Golden Boy mind works.
