Id like to see it, Brook could fight in April and has stated several times he would like the fight.

How about Khan vs Brook in April then. Good British scrap for us all. Id happily pay for it.

Before anyone says...but Brook is a welterweight! Khan apparently has been linked with John Murray, Michael Katsidis, JMM, ect who are lightweights and that is okay, so why not the other way round with Khan fighting a bigger man?

It would be interesting So why not?

Khan is looking for a keep busy fight until the winner of Bradley Alexander fight happens. Kell Brook would be a lot more than a tune up keep busy fight. Once Khan fights Bradley or Alexander he will either
    a) If he wins ignore Kell Brook and move on looking for big fights such as Mayweather

    or

    b) If he loses he may well fight Kell Brook as a way of showing the British public that hes still the man (given that he beats Brook!)

Okay so...IF khan unifys 140 and decides to go up to 147...do u agree that Kell Brook would be a good first fight or would he likely go for Berto instead?

Yeah I would love to see that fight but, I think that if he unifys 140 then he wont be interested in Kell Brook. He will be acting as if hes 2 leagues higher not that he is but he will be looking at only the biggest fights. I would love for him to fight Kell and personally think Kell could pull the win off but if it is to happen Brook has either gotta do something special maybe beat berto or Alvarez ,or, Khan has gotta fall from the high horse he is on by losing to Devon or Tim.

Why McClocsky though? Devon Alexander is qouted as saying that he dosn't have to fight Amir if he beats Bradley, to prove he is the best at 140. So if Amir was to beat someone like Ortiz, Guzman or Zab it would do him a lot more favours than beating a complete unknown in McClosky!

To be fair, McCloskey is only unknown stateside. He is a European champion in his weight and is undefeated.

Though I myself wouldn't mind seeing him fight Ortiz, Peterson, Guzman, Matthysse etc.

It's a good fight but why now? Brook doesn't bring anything to the table financially. He has no World belt. He's not even proven he belongs on the world level.

I know he's better than McCloskey but the Brook fight could be bigger in a couple of years.

They will want to let the Khan/Brook fight build for sometime in 2012.

Also, you have to remember than Brook is unknown stateside and his opponents, except for his last few, have been absolute sh*t.

Once he starts facing world class opponents, we'll know exactly where he stands.

Yeah hes undefeated european champ but you have to admit its a step down in class for Khan. I understand a keep sharp fight but mcclosky has not one scalp on his record. A Zab fight makes a lot more sense to me, relatavely safe, well know world wide and will definatley keep him sharp and up his qudos.

Judah atm has a fight with Mabuza on March 5th, 2011 for the IBF Jr WW title.

From that, if he wins, he wants to go on to fight the B/A winner or Khan.

However, if the Matthysse fight showed anything, its that he's way beyond his prime.
