Makes perfect sense. Matthysse establishes himself as a marquee name with a win over Manny. The fight would be more marketable than May vs. Guerrero. If Pac wins, he just took out the most dangerous man at 140 and reestablishes himself as an elite fighter in the 140-147 range. It would be the last chance to salvage a Mayweather fight and the fans would eat it up. Would be great for Pac to finally get out from under the JMM/Bradley umbrella.

I guess I'd like to see Pac in compelling fights -those not involving JMM- before he retires. He's been a beacon in the sport for a decade and it's not like these guys can go on forever. Rios is a complete waste of whatever he still brings to the table. He didn't even win his last fight. This promotional rift is the worst that I've ever seen. Arum could work with ****ing Don King, but he can't work with DLH and Money May?
Yes, I suppose we can hypothetically match Floyd up against everyone like we do here on a daily basis. There are great fights out there that don't directly involve Mayweather, though.
