No clue, but what a show! It's only a week earlier than the 11/21 date, and Goosen will never go for 11/21.
It won't work cause of the money on the same night will be too much. And i doubt both Pavlik and Williams will like to fight each other in the undercard. And Arum already have atleast 3 or 4 fights in the undercard anyway so it won't fit Pavlik vs Williams.
There would be a problem with the split on the live gate too. However, split venue double header is do-able.
If HBO are forking out for two fights and they put them on on the same night, they get fewer viewing minutes in total, and less advertising revenue etc. etc. That said, it might boost the buys slightly; Pavlik for one has a dedicated following who would buy the PPV who mightn't otherwise.
I can understand that, but if a PPV should exist, it should be as stacked a card as you can make it. This is (ugh I can't believe I'm doing this too) UFC is doing so well. They save the weak cards for SPIKE. Still, in perfect world this would happen and be on plain ol' HBO like Pavlik-Williams already will.
Because HBO (and Bob Arum and Goosen) can milk the boxing populace for more by putting Williams and Pavlik on their own show.
