I understand the fact that they could make a big ppv event without floyd or manny...But for the love of boxing, put Cotto vs Margarito 2 on the undercard.

I mean look at what UFC did on ufc 100...They didnt NEED to stack the card, but they did because this was their superbowl.

If HBO doesnt think of this fight in the exact same way, it is a shame....Or hell, at least haye vs vitali or wlad

    And who gets paid what?

Cotto got a few million for his last fight. You want him to fight on the undercard and make less? You'd want the event to have alot of cash guaranteed in order to pay Mayweather, Pacquaio, Cotto, Margarito.

Wlad and Haye can make millions on their own.

You just answered your own question right there.

"For the love of boxing"?? Promoters don't care about that, they care about money.

Cotto - Margarito, if promoted accordingly, could potentially do around 1 mill ppv buys in it's own right. Furthermore, Arum is arrogant and greedy. :deal

I am holding out hope that Top Rank and Golden Boy uses this opportunity, which will no doubt garner a transcendent audience, to rightfully promote their exciting and deserving fighters on the under-card. I'd love to see Gamboa and/or Khan make appearances to show off their skills on a card that will yield numbers north of 2 million ppv buys. (This is all assuming that the fight actual comes to fruition of course.)

Like the other posters have stated, AM/Cotto fight is going to make more money on their own. It would be nice for the fans to see all four of them in one night but as far as making more profits for the promoters, they won't stack the undercards.

I don't give a **** if there isn't even an undercard. Just give me Mayweather/Pac and I will be happy for the rest of the decade

the undercards really suck under Arum. the last good fight under a pacquiao fight was Hussein Hussein vs Jorge Arce I.

Just put in Arce vs Nonito on that card and F the rest..

I didn't see the whole fight as I only saw the end and was drunk but I remember people saying that Luevano-Santiago on the Pacquiao-Diaz undercard was a good fight.

Donaire has actually begged Top Rank to put him on some Pacquiao cards, and he's been rebuffed. They told him it would do nothing for him. That's bull****. Fighting nobodies on Latin Fury/Pinoy Power cards do nothing for him. Donaire should be on the main undercard for Mayweather/Pacquiao(if the fight comes off). It should be Donaire vs. a top 118 lber. as the top undercard, Alvarez vs. someone who will fight back as the middle undercard, and then that guy from Mayweather promotions who was on the opening undercard of the Mayweather/Mosley card as the opening undercard.
