I'd rather see Vitali take on the giant.

Vitali versus Valuev would be cruel. Like a mean animal handler at the circus or zoo! Valuev would take way too much punishment from Vitali -- he would look truly horrific. Once Vitali realized that Valuev is:

    1. Slow
    2. Has no power considering his size or weight
    3. Is a huge target waiting to be pummeled

Vitali would absolutely decimate the poor giant.

I would love to see Wlad vs. Valuev, but why would Valuev want to lose his title again so quickly? Then the Klitschko's would truly reign supreme and Don King would have to win a title in the court system instead!

Valuev does not have what it takes to beat Wlad, unless he can freak him out with a scary Halloween Mask!

And is all of that a bad thing.

    Just kiddin'.

I kinda like the gentle giant, and Vitali would do all you said.

    And more !

It's too much of a risk for Valuev and his people, it'd be nice if it'd happened but it's not going to happen.

Valuev handlers are claiming that there isn't enough time to set such a big fight up... I would like to see it materialzing even though Valuev chances of making the fight competitif seem very slim.

Good idea, but I doubt Valuev will take the fight.

I read it on a Russian site, there was an interview with Valuev's manager. They were justifying it, if Povetkin was to be paid $3 million as a mandatory champion, then Valuev deserved $7 million as a full champion.

Well, 7 milllion dollars is what it will take. This issue is all about money. Valuev could easily take this fight. Valuev was preparing to fight one week later anyaway, he loses 7 days- big deal.

Let's start a Valuev is Scared Don King Sucks thread...

We all know that ESB is the pinnacle of boxing knowledge and everyone who posts here is head and shoulders above any trainer/promoter/fighter in terms pure inteligence. So once these two realize we are bagging on them for being almost 600 pounds of spinless record padding **** they will immediately do whatever it takes to make the fight happen

We should announce as the self annointed kings of the boxing world that this fight should happen and once we do that it's a done deal

-wow meth is a hell of a drug

Wow. If they fought it should be 50/50 like the Sultan Ibragimov fight was. Wlad was willing then so I figure he would be willing now.

This fight makes too much sense that is why it is not going to happening.

Don King contiunues to block Heavyweight unification like he has the past 10 years.

WTF are you harping about? All you did is whine, I didn't see any arguement.

They both need an opponent for their next fight, and it is a logical fight. Vladimir wants the fight, Valuev says he will take the fight for 7 million dollars. It is what is.

I'm going to assume english wasn't your first language because if it was and you took that post seriously you have some issues. I was commenting on the fact that everyone here thinks they know everything... and being sarcastic that if we made a post they might pay attention

in a way your response validates my assertions, you are obviously missing the point so I'll refrain from questioning your inteligence but just so we are clear my post was not intended to be taken as a serious comentary on the current situation (as noted by the meth reference)

    Take it easy bro
