Weren't they talking about Margarito vs Clottey?? Is that fight even still on?

Anyways, I like Clottey in this fight.. Clottey is quick as **** and he'll work on Williams on the inside.. Clottey seems like he can take a pretty good punch.. Anyways, good fight and I'll take Clottey..

BTW, isn't Williams suppose to be moving up or whatever?

I dont think clottey is easy work for anyone in the division. I think William's workrate may be too much for clottey to pull off a decision. However, he does cover up well and PW is always wide open for counter punches. This would probably be close decision for the punisher based on his volume of punches alone.

It would be a good fight, however I don't think Clottey is active enough to win a points decision

Clottey vs. Margarito rematch and the winner fights Williams considering Williams already beat Margo

Clottey would block all of PWs flicks.
Then he would counter PW at will and maybe even TKO him later in the fight.
Clottey is far too slick for PW.

I think if Clottey won it would be by KO, no way is Clottey active enough to outpoint Paul "Stavin Marvin" Williams, no way:-(

Clottey doesn't hit hard enough to KO Williams. Williams went 12 with Margo, his chin is battle tested. Anyway, Clottey can afford not to throw a ton of punches if he defends well and is accurate.

Good call. Clottey has brittle hands and isn't a big puncher. Paul Williams has a proven chin. I don't see Clottey getting a stoppage in this fight.

Were this fight to be made, I think Paul Williams would flat cover him up with busy for a points win. Maybe a close one as Clottey defends and counters very well. But with the Punisher throwing 100 punches a round throughout the fight, I don't see Clottey taking a decision and I don't think he bangs good enough to win by stoppage.

Paul Williams by SD or close UD.
