Anthony Joshua vs. 6'3 Southpaw Roberto Cammarelle at the 2012 London Olympics.

This was every bit a much of a gift as the Savon match.:deal:

Cammarelle is a solid boxer, but he's a clumsy lumbering slowpoke compared to Usyk.

Mihai Nistor is a 6'0 Heavyweight.... Southpaw, fairly fast and awkward.

    Here he is KOing Joshua.

WIlder vs. Ortiz 6'3 Southpaw, slow as molasses, he lost every round but one, until his lucky punch.

If you believe that so much, want to make a bet on Usyk v Joshua if they ever meet? Usyk has a wildcard to beat Joshua's mandatory.

I can't believe you made this statement after watching Joshua beat Povetkin, what happens when Joshua lands on Usyk?

Jeez, Usyk heavy weight hype is real. This forum is going to explode...

Everyone needs to relax and just accept Usyk is a great cruiser weight champion and leave it at that.

he has been hit by many huge heavyweights, as has been highlighted in this thread.

Also, Usyk won't be there to be hit flush as much as Povetkin was, he'll be constantly moving away from the punches

Put Usyk in with Fury & that's a loss for Usyk Fury would do what he did Cunningham.

I am confident in my statement because i watched the Povetkin fight.

It's not all about size. Boxing fans have this ridiculous assumption that a fighter moving up in weight, automatically looses.
Joshua lands clean on anybody and he hurts them. But i am not concerned about that.

Joshua's footwork is one dimensional. And he doesn't really use the lead hand to control distance nor his opponent. He has an active guard and looks to time his jab based on the opponents footwork.
Povetkin took advantage of that timing and landed those swift combos. Joshua adapted by keeping his lead hand out there, if he missed a jab. This allowed him to control Povetkin and mitigate the returning counter offense.
Then Joshua timed Povetkin and round by round he would look to set up the right hand. He kept jabbing to the body and trying to get Povetkin to drop his guard.
Joshua started throwing the right hand to the body and that finally opened up the shot to the head. A simple yet brilliant tactic.

Joshua reacted to every feint from Povetkin. And look how easily Parker kept him out of range with the simple flash of his lead hand.
Joshua is bad at cutting of the ring, he doesn't deal well with lead hand control nor feints and his own offense is somewhat predictable.

    Usyk UD.

Yes,mauling him with his arm on the rope then when knackered he will use the arm to lift his head then bang it's all over.Fury did not get enough credit for what he did to Cunningham & Wilder better get rid of him Quick or Fury wins easy.

You know that move was (and still is) illegal, right?! Would he get away with it against someone like Usyk too you think?

Could go to who Ref's the fight & it's hard to stop with a very big man like Fury.

Imagine Fury laying on Usyk the Ref goes to pull them apart & he does not move.

Usyk isn't capable of that though. Not even close. I don't see being Usyk any different from Kovalev, Triple G, Povetkin, etc.

In short he is just another overrated fighter from people who need a "hero". As soon as Usyk steps up he will be beaten. He simply lacks the size to compete at the top level at heavyweight.

Trust me, he will be there to get hit. It is deluded to think Usyk won't get counter punched, people fail to realise (because they don't box themselves) that when you get hit even lightly by a big puncher, you've lost your rythm immediately, and before you know it another punch has landed on you.

He will get stopped unless he runs around the ring like Parker then he will just lose on points.

I just can't accept this unrealistic hype when we aint seen much of anything regarding Usyk at heavy weight, we've seen plenty of AJ, and Povetkin fight proved a hell of a lot.
