Few in the history of the sport have racked up such accomplishments in as little time, in relatively few matches as an away fighter, Usyk isn't just P4P Number 1, he's the greatest fighter of this generation.

Usyk is P4P #1 and that's not changing in the mind of any sane person until he retires/or loses.

The most impressive part about that statement is there is no possible way to even posit an argument for any other fighter. And I'm not biased here. I like Usyk, but he's never been one of my favorites. Just keeping it real. Nobody even close.

For all intents and purposes, what should now be clear, is that he's been the best boxer on the planet for the last 8 years.

The styles he's faced, the travelling he's done, the names he's beat.

The only thing better than witnessing the career of a great, is witnessing the career of a great who's humble, a people's champion, and doesn't care one bit about who the a side is.

He's the antithesis of the likes of Floyd and Canelo, and I'm convinced history will remember him much fonder than those two.

The simple way of putting this is

How many times have Crawford and Inoue fought opponents who are way bigger, heavier, longer and more powerful than them?

They're fighting opponents roughly their size and if they are bigger than them sometimes it's not by much sans Inoue vs McDonnell

How many times have they fought outside their home country in there opponent's backyards?

How many times have they won world titles in their opponent's backyards?

How many times have they unified world titles in their opponent's backyards?

How many legit punchers and murderous punching KO artists have they fought?

How many legit punchers and murderous punching KO artists have they fought who are way heavier, bigger, longer and more powerful than they are?

How many times have they done either in their opponent's backyards?

Now ask these questions about Usyk? Exactly. It's night and day.

Both Crawford and Inoue are fantastic fighters and rightfully top 3 P4P but no one is doing what Usyk is

Usyk pole vaults back over Inoue and Crawford into the top slot now, yeah. A second win over Fury probably allows him to keep it even if Inoue completes his cleanout of a second division's top five; and even if Crawford successfully annexes a title in a fourth division.

They're not all that far apart from one another, though. If Crawford goes undisputed or even lineal in a fourth division within the space of a year, I might consider elevating him. And if Inoue completes that cleanout and starts in on the featherweight division, he'll be worth another look, too.

Pretty crazy that we have three separate guys well within striking distance of one another in terms of p4p rankings. You'd have to go back at least three decades-probably more-to find a situration where three fighters were vying for P4P supremacy at the same time.

No arguments here, he has basically completed boxing, I would retire if I was him. Fury doesn’t deserve a rematch after his comments about Usyk getting a sympathetic decision because of the war, and the fact he didn’t give his countryman Wladimir Klitschko another crack
Iam still the ultimate Crawford fan but I can’t see a case for him being ranked above usyk, it’s not possible however his career pans out opponents wise, but I still think Crawford is the most talented fighter of his generation.
It’s just an impossible task for Crawford to achieve anything close to what usyk has achieved.

Iam not religious but I’m praying for a team Usyk announcement that he is retiring, no chance for fury to avenge the loss.
That would be the perfect career and with a little bit of poetic justice thrown.

I don't know CST, p4p #1 might be a stretch, I mean he isn't even #1 in the HW division according to BoxRec AJ takes the top spot now lol.

Without a doubt, Usyk is #1 P4P. Nobody has ‘completed boxing’ like he has. His accomplishments are legendary and he is the very best of his generation. Clean fighter, humble man, unparalleled skill level.

    It's now
    Usyk
    Inoue
    gap
    Loma
    gap
    Crawford
    Beterbiev
    Bivol
    big gap
    ???

Usyk has unified the heavyweight division against a guy almost 20% heavier and the next best current heavyweight. He has done it on the road with no favours.

118 to 122 is a jump, but nothing like the CW to HW jump. Inoue is destroying 122 pounders but needs to be taking out 126 pound fighters to match Usyk, and in some respects Loma, who is very undersized.

Despite dodgy decisions, Loma's defeat of bigger opponents is much greater than Crawford's fairly weak resume.

If Crawford cleans out 154 in style, he gets closer to Inoue, surpassing Loma.

The winner of Beterbiev and Bivol, depending on how the fight plays out, can overtake Crawford.

Usyk was inactive because he was waiting for lard lad to get in the ring.
