Honestly it all comes down to context If you think Crawford fought a shell of an Errol Spence then I could see your point of view If not Spence is probably better than every fighter music fault so it all comes down to context

    1. After decimating a stacked Cruiserweight he was transitioning to heavyweight (much more meticulous than moving up 5 pounds; even though cruiserweights walk around carrying weight above the CW limit, to adjust your fighting frame whilst retaining the necessary qualities of your style takes more time.) he took on one tune-up fight against Witherspoon, beat Chisora (getting rid of a tough gatekeeper who was recently giving top ranked contender in Whyte a do-or-die fights, and knocked out the likes of Szpilka and Takam, the latter being an especially decent win) and took majority of the belts beating Joshua back to back, coming back from war for the rematch. Afterwards Fury negotiations pretty much halted his career before he was forced to take on his mandatory in Dubois.

    2. The Ring literally ranks him as number 1 in the division, with Fury as #2. Every sanctioning body except for WBC naturally has him as their champion as well.

    3. Briedis lost to Jai Opetaia in the last fight of his career, at 37, and in an absolute war. Joshua avenged the Ruiz loss decisively (granted, against an obese Ruiz, but in shape he would have likely shut him out running anyway) and it does not negate the fact that he was a champion for a long time, beating the likes of Whyte, Parker, Old Man Klitschko, and a whole lot of B and C tier wins like Takam, Breazeale, Martin, Old Man Povetkin and Pulev etc. Had his stains, and is by no means and ATG, but it was still a decent 240+lbs champion taking on Usyk in London (home advantage like literally every of Usyk's opponents.)

    4. Bellew was the one $$$ fight he took after unifying the cruiser and before moving to heavyweight. His best wins after Joshua and Briedis are in no particular order: Hunter (fighting in USA, undefeated slickster, went on to beat Martin Bakole), Głowacki (limited, but fighting in Gdańsk, undefeated, coming off of a knockout of Huck and decisive win over an admittedly old USS Cunningham), Gassiev (undefeated, murderous puncher, fighting in Russia, later slowed down by injuries, but still knocking heavyweights left and right recently) and finally Huck who, granted, was more of a second tier opponent, hence why Usyk dispatched him efficiently.

Didn't he lose to a bum? No, he lost to an undefeated southpaw KO artist, who put on a masterful display of boxing for the first 6 rounds. Then Briedis came roaring back in the second half of the fight, and literally destroyed the kid's face. Like horror show mangling, I was literally fearing for Opetaia life in the last round. So yeah, he lost, in a match that the corner should've stopped before the last round, and probably ended up destroying Opetaia's career in the process. Here, watch the match, ou won't be bored. It was a FOTY contender. It also should've been a draw.

Who has he beaten? He got to the finals in the first WBSS and then came back and won the second WBSS the next year.

He nearly killed Manuel Charr at Heavyweight. He destroyed Olanrewaju Durodola and Krzysztof Glowacki. Dominated Marco Huck and Yunier Dorticos. Won close matches against Mike Perez and Noel Gevor, one of the slickest guys 200 and above. Briedis' hand was injured in that one.

You know I know my ****, take my word for it. The man is an absolute beast.

Come on man, you know better than this. On no planet was Usyk-Chisora even close to a draw. If you scored it a draw, you literally don't know how to score a boxing match and have no idea what you're watching. At best Chisora, and I'm being really generous here, won 4 rounds, and worst, he won 2. None of his aggression was effective, as a fan of slick fighters, you should watch it, it was a masterclass. Seeing a behemoth rhino charging after tiny little Usyk, and him like the expert matador that he is, taking him to school. It was a sight to behold.

As far as the Briedis match, I scored it 118-111 Usyk, Pinoy scored it 116-112 Usyk, pretty much the entire RBR had it for Usyk. But the fact that Briedis kept it uncomfortably close throughout, is truly a testament to how ****ing great Briedis is, instead of Usyk not being great. Now, explain to me Porter getting robbed against Spence and winning 5-6 rounds off of Crawford at the time of the bull**** vindictive father stoppage?

I'm not entirely certain he's retired. Was there ever an official announcement?

Let me troll the usual suspects in peace lol. You know that post wasn’t directed as you and I don’t think the Chisora fight couldve been a draw. You gotta fight dishonesty people with dishonesty. Can’t win playing fair.

Briedis is 38 (37 when he lost a razor-close controversial in many people's eyes to Opetaia in the later's backyard) and he's clearly on the downward slope.

And Opetaia is really good. He's a high skill big punching southpaw with a huge heart and Briedis hurt him badly a few times, was close to stopping him, and would've done so if there was one more round because he broke Opetaia's jaw very badly on both sides and Opetaia was in a bad way.

Briedis displayed a big heart in that one too and his great set of whiskers too. He's never been down or even close to going down.

I don't think he did, touche. I'm not sure if we'll see more than a goodbye fight in Latvia though.

I love Usyk and rate him as an ATG for his achievements.
But Crawford is out of sight in terms of P4P. That guy is amazing. People like to s**t on what’s current. Bud is number 1. That’s the end of it.

For Briedis, it's such a pit that wasn't a 15 rounder, or held in Latvia.

Do you really think a CW version of Spence or Porter could beat Gassiev?
