man, with the way donaire's career has been moving aftr that vic win. i'm starting to forget that i am a fan of his. his talent is just gonna be wasted if he ain't gonna face better oppositions.

Maybe his artificially high ranking is a ploy. Perhaps De La Hoya thinks there is a chance Donaire can be the next PacMan. So Oscar pulls some strings, gets Donaire ranked high, builds him up - then takes over managment.
