Why oppose Mayweather vs Garcia but not Pacquiao vs Garcia?

I remember when Danny's name was mentioned to fight Pacquiao everyone was fine with it. Making predictions talking about how great of a match up it would be.

Maybe Danny might fight Mayweather and everyone is critical of the match up. They want Floyd to fight Middleweights instead at the age of 39 when he has never weighed more than 150 on a fight night.

    Again double standards.

Danny Garcia is a joke. How many times has he lost now? 4 times or something?
He was gifted the 147 belt.

If mayweather is gonna fight let's see him in some interesting matchups.......not some clown who's lost a bunch of fights.

They don't want to admit it but Mayaeather is a different level of fighter than Manny. Manny is closer in skill level to the rest of the welterweights than Floyd.

Nah.....Mayweather has to fight Hearns, Hagler, Leonard and Duran, otherwise it's a mismatch

If floyd beat Anthony Joshua people would have something negative to say.

No, but instead of Garcia he can fight a big welter in Thurman or fight a technically sound big 154 pounder in Lara.

Garcia brings nothing to the table against Mayweather that he hasn't already seen better of.

Mayweather's defense nullifies Garcia and it would make for a non-eventful 12 round decision much the way Mayweather scored for Guerrero, Berto, and a few others.

Pacquiao vs Garcia has the makings for a better fight in that both show up to fight. Caution is secondary to those fighters where its priority number 1 for Mayweather.

I would watch Floyd and Lara, but even if Lara brought money I guarantee it wouldn't happen

Because Garcias style would make for an incredibly boring fight with Mayweather. Pac-Garcia would be more exciting.

Mayweather and his cautious approach is to good for Garcia, no question. I'd like to see if that same approach is to good against a fighter like Thurman who's young and towers over Floyd.
Would like to see if its to good against a sound technical fighter like Lara who is physically stronger than Floyd.

Don't think we'll find out, Mayweather don't pick those types of cherries.
