I just now realized after reading some post why PAC did not get the PROPS for beating DLH and Hatton. DLH lost due to weight drained issues and Hatton is shot and has NO defense.

REASON: PAC did it in such a ONE SIDED DOMINATING FASHION. That is it, if the fight was actually close and he TKO's either fighter there will be less excuses.

PBF got more props when he beat DLH and Hatton but they were more competitive fights.

    Thoughts???

I totally agree vegasdude, I have watched boxing for over 40 years so have a fair idea what I am talking about, even if at times I can get passionate in one direction (but I think if we are honest we all can). I saw the exact same thing in all 4 fights. I personally think that DLH has been (not shot) but way passed his best for years and I think Hatton 'peaked' in the Tszyu fight. Yes I know lots of people think he was dirty in that fight (I happen not to agree having seen Duran fight lol) but anyway I think it took so much out of him he was never the same fighter again.

Now in comparison betwen PBF and PAC, I would say that Pac actually got them out of there in his own inimitable style but I do think PBF had trouble with both until they were worn out, yes it took Hatton 3 rounds to be clearly out of his depth , but still took PBF another 7 rounds to figure out a way to get him out, which is a very long time for an 'apparant' master. I personally felt DLH won the match against PBF and would be happy to discuss with anyone that can actually discuss with dignity and not all this fould mouthed attacks just because you are losing and argument :). regards ESB fans

I don't give him much credit for ODLH and I wouldn't give any other fighter much credit for beating that version of ODLH, but I give him plenty of credit for Hatton.

He got more than plenty of props by real boxing writers, just not the douchebags who post here.

Everyone knows that PAc did not beat the best versions of Dlh or Hatton, and that is why Dapidran does not get the props Floyd received for beating their common opponents at a better stage than when Dapidran fought them.

The funny thing about the Floyd fans dismissing this comment is that Floyd suffers from the same problem. He gets no credit for the Baldomir or Marquez fights because he won so easily.

Even against Corralles people say that Corralles was drained and unfocused. It is a strange thing, but doing too well in a fight is seen as bad in a lot of cases.

Nobody thought Chico was weight drained or anything like that when he fougt Floyd except his fans. They found out that Chico can only slug, and that he had no pure boxing skills.

I still hear people talking about Chico being drained and upset over potentially going to prison. I think it's bull****, just like I think people saying Barrera wasn't ready for the first Pac fight.

As someone who likes Mayweather I'm surprised you don't agree that people tend to be skeptical and make excuses for his most dominant performances. As they do for Pac's.

Once you enter that ring, excuses for losing go out of the window because it is an insult to the fighter who wins.

We can debate this. I don't think that there is anyway that Oscar could've won that fight.
