Why Mayweather ducked Martinez that even offered @ 150 pounds?

Now..... that Cotto is the ''Middleweight Champion'', Mayweather will grab that Recycled Fight at a catchweight of probably 155 pounds for the Middleweight Title.

    Mayweather ''Catchweight King'': @ 152 vs Alvarez & @ 144 vs Marquez.

Mayweather said this about a potential fight against Martinez back in 2012: “If Sergio Martinez can make 150, let’s make the fight happen.”

But ends up fighting Cotto @ 154 who is Pacquiao's & Margarito's ''Left Overs''.

Mayweather should have kept quiet with the whole ''Catchweight'' & ''Left Overs'' when it comes to Pacquiao when he does the same.

Floyd fans really are pathetic. No real boxing fan admires Floyd.

I don't see why that would bother them. They already removed avatars to preserve space.

I personally have never said that Pacquiao fights everyone. He has ducked a couple of good opponents, but Floyd has ducked at least 5 top-level guys in his own weight classes.

The main reason I criticize Floyd and rarely criticize Pacquiao is that Floyd calls himself The Best Ever, whereas Pacquiao keeps his mouth shut.

You can't call yourself the best fighter ever when you haven't even fought the best of your own era.:deal

Fighting Cotto is just an angle for him to win another title. If he beat Cotto again he wouldn't even mention fighting Golovkin who would be the mandatory

Pacquiao's first title fight at welterweight was against Cotto in late 2009 (Pacquiao had fought Hatton the fight prior for a JWW belt). Pacquiao-Cotto was about 1 month before Martinez-Williams I. After Martinez-Williams I, which I think was at middleweight, it was only a matter of time until Martinez-Williams II.

After Cotto, Pacquiao fought Clottey and Margarito. He definitely didn't seem to be ducking large, tough fighters. But by the time Pacquiao was established at welterweight Williams seemed to have moved on to middleweight.

As far as Martinez, Pacquiao said he would fight Martinez at 150 lbs as far back as 2011. And earlier this year I think Pacquiao was intending to fight the Cotto-Martinez winner.

Not sure Pacquiao ducked either of these guys in any realistic sense. He certainly didn't retire so as to avoid people near his weight class.

Pacquiao fought Margarito. Floyd pretended to retire so he could stay away from him.
