I think the point is that cheats, in baseball, track, and other sports are often caught AFTER they have accomplished great victories or goals. And the fact they are caught, after reaping the adoration of millions, damages the entire sport. When Sosa and McGwire were engaged in there home run race they were the toast of America, now they are jokes. And basebal is looked at as a sport filled with cheaters, even if every one doesn't cheat.

Pac, if he is actually the good christian and humble person people think he is should test to ensure not only his legacy is seen as spotless, but boxing is shown to be clean. What is so hard to understand about that?

no amount of test or non-test will force a coward to stop his vacation.

"Im on vacation" or "Im taking a couple of years off from boxing" those are the reasons why this fight isnt happening what is hard to understand about that?If drug testing were the issue fraud or someone on his team would have mentioned it by now.

Pac doesn't have to fight Mayweather to test. He can do the "right thing" in his fight with Margarito. The testing issue in boxing, though brought up by Mayweather, has now become an issue independent of him.

Why should boxingbe the sport that remains in the shadows? With the testing in all other major sports it makes boxing seem even more fringe than it is.

it should be noted that the test wants floyd to perform is for olympics and not for pro boxing. there are many questions to be answered like who would pay for these and can boxing afford it? commissions has their own testing. if floyd wants new rules, he better petition them commissions now and stop with his vacation if he really intends to clean the sport.

ladies lets not get it twisted,

mayweather would not be on vacation now if pac had agreed to fight him with random testing.

dont worry when pac decides that he has no option but to do this he will retire into conress, then you guys can root for him in his election campaigns

Those are the tests that are the most stringent, and will prove beyond doubt that Pac is clean. It is not only Floyd who wants the testing done. There is a movement across ALL sports to have atheletes prove they are clean. The more stadaerdized good stringent testing is throughout the sport, the cheaper it will be.

Nah.....Floyd would have still been on vacation regardless. He didn't want to fight Manny period. At least not this year and I'm not sure he'll answer the call next year either.

What does this have to do with Mayweather?

This is what is ruining this board.

When you respond to EVERY question with a dig at Mayweather (and vice versa).

Don't you think this is a bit silly?
