cotto was draining to make it down to 140 and torres is a ****in beast of a puncher. those were massive shots cotto took and he handled them well. not to mention he came right back and knocked the **** out of torres. name one time cotto's been hurt like that at 147.
Torres drugged an ill prepared cotto with a number of debilitating blows, what should worry a pac fan was his ability to strive through adversity and KO his opposition. Cotto was also drilled by heavy righthands from Randell Bailey and Mosely and hardly blinked. I think your point is null.
All you *******s better be here talking this bold November 15 after Pac gets KTFO! Look, Im not a Pacquiao hater, I think he's great for the sport. You all are just elevating him too damn high as the best WW, and he's never really been tested. DLH was drained, and Roach specifically said before the fight that when he trained DLH he knew he coudn't pull the trigger anymore. He knew it was a safe choice. Hatton, who fought Pac at 140, was coming off of a KO loss; and it was pretty apparent that he was no longer prime. This will be Manny's 2nd fight at WW, but his first true WW test. Those who say Cotto will not be able to land are ******ed. Manny is very hittable. I saw Manny hurt by small guys like Morales and Marquez. Now imagine how hurt he'll be when hit by the bigger/stronger Cotto. Cotto has great timing and will catch Manny coming in. Plus, while Cotto has been preparing himself physically and mentally for this fight, Pacquiao has been filming commercials, movies, records - he's not even gonna have his full usual 8 weeks of training. Face it - his boat has sailed.
I agree PAC will win, but Cotto showed alot of heart and balls coming back from being rocked. It will be a good fight but I see PAC ending the fight no later than round 9 or 10. The speed, movement and spuratic offense will cause many problems for Miguel.
