Why Pacquiao still beats Floyd.

I agree with you or at least thats what I want to believe. Pac seems a lot more tentative when he fights these days which makes me worried hes lost the biggest advantage he had in this match up. If he does indeed fight wrecklessly like he has in the past then I'd say he still wins.

corpsejr tried to steal the first few rounds with jabs esp to the body.

that wont happen against a southpaw, especially against pac's speed and power, because he is vulnerable to counter/check right hook and left upper cut.


how many times he tried pull counter on slow ass madonna? again, that doesnt happen against a southpaw. he wont be pulling a counter on a straight left.

on defense, his shoulder roll doesnt work against southpaws, which means he wont be able to lay on the ropes and rest, which means, he will be jumping like a kangaroo for 12rounds, which he wont be able to do.

his main defense will be running and hugging, more hugging than running.


the fight will resemble the madona rematch except corpsejr will not score enough points to steal rounds.

Sorry but Pac fights way more tentative now than he ever did. He fought with caution against a lightweight in Rios and he fought the same way against bradley and was even stunned by him and bradley doesnt stun anyone that matters. But you expect him to throw caution to wind against floyd who he will be at a size and reach disadvantage against. Come on now. If bradley is hurting him then i expect floyd to do the same.
