So that instantly puts him in the ranks for one of the titles?

We are talking legacy, to be able to comparae with SRL...SSM is one of the opponents he needed to beat to start getting there...sure OLDH has to be on the equation also, but if he already beat him, he needed to go to the next and after that the next etc after he have earned the right to be call ATG....

I already said its impossible for Floyd to even get near SRL. Shane was 35, turning 36. A lose lose for Floyd. Floyd called him out earlier in his career and where was Shane then?

you said he didnt hold 3 titles becaause he didnt want to fight shane cotto and pw....and pbf cant compare to srl because suray was fortunate to be able to fight great fighters...name 1 fighter current that is great that pbf can fight

After the supreme performance PBF put on against Hatton I can't knock him.
But I just can't agree that he is in the same league as SRL was.
SRL is as good as it will ever get IMO. But PBF does come close.

In every generation theres are powerful opponents of equal prescence in the rankins to challenge the top boxer, SRL had: Benitez, Hearns, Hagler, and Duran...and he fought them all....all

PBF generations at this point has: Cotto, Williams, Margarito, SSM and Cintron...this is are the top ones in similar fashion to SRL period, yet PBF has decided to think that they are beneath him and he can do waht he wasnt choosing opponents to load the bank..and his legacy..

Well let me tell you in sports, legacy and loading the bank are never on the same side...so at one point in your career you ahve to decide should I go for the money or for my legacy...well...guess what...PBF has decided he is for the money..so any talk about his legacy is pure bull****....

notice those fighter in SRL's era were great fighters and had already established themselves....and its a joke that you even tried to compare eras...pbf could beat all those fighters you named and more and he still wouldnt be able to reach srl's status because leonard beat ATG...name an ATG currently in Pbf's era that he can fight

Well, I don't think that Hearns was an ATG when he lost to SRL. Cotto is certainly headed in the same direction as Hearns. You can beat fighters who aren't yet ATG but are the best in their weight class, and later on, it looks favorable. That's why you don't compare eras. When PBF is retired, who knows what Hatton, Castillo, Corrales, and DLH will stand, and how they will look in history. This effects PBF. Jones beating Hopkins when he did looked like nothing more than a stepping stone.....now its a win over one of the greatest MW ever.

Legacy and money are not mutually exclusive. Other than that I can accept your point.

As soon as I read the username I didnt read it, he made a thread saying how he saw hatton would win this fight and stop PBF! and his blood and gutz warrior list is laughable, just leave already.
