well he deserves it IMO, and i'm not even a fan. he may have had an off night. we will see if there is a rematch. i think without question he is still the best 155 in the world.

I think when a guy has defended his title as many times as Penn has, he's earned the right to an immediate rematch.

could have gone either way, penn has dominated his division so deserves an immediate rematch after how close the fight was, also, the ufc may be hesitant to make a lw ppv without bj penn headlining

    Penn won that fight..

That was the weakest way to win a belt ever.

BJ said on his website in a blog that he spoke with the UFC and that the Edgar rematch is in the works right now, but it's not finalized. Chances are, he's going to get it.

BJ deserves to get an immediate rematch, especially in a fight that didn't end decisively and was close. If GSP or Silva got upset in a close fight, they'd all want rematches too I'd assume.

if this is true then BJ is getting the belt back. I feel its not going the distance this time.

BJ is still wearing sunglasses in every video blog, his eyes must be ****ed up. Was it only me that noticed redness and swelling under his eyes prior to the fight?

I just got a quick question for any of you...
I've seen some people talking about how BJ look just before the fight, am I the only one that felt something was wrong like in the Machida VS Shogun fight ?

If you check after the ring entrance of Machida, he talk to the ref and something seems to bother him, he doesn't look prepare at all for that fight and suprisingly, it end almost the same way... !

  13. All of the above and possibly to ne5ville.

I did notice that with machida though, i wasn't sure if the ref was just cool with him or not.

Because Penn is the most dominant Lightweight Champion ever, it was a major upset and he barley lost. Edgar won the fight simply by outworking him all the clean punches I seen where landed by Penn.

Really ? Did you wanna see Machida-Evans II ? or a Couture and Sylvia rematch ? Most of the time im for a rematch especially if the Champion was dominant and the fight was close but not if the fight was a one sided drubbing. Obviously not the case here IMO Penn edged it although he didnt exactly go all out to keep his title.
