His fights are fine, its his big mouth and constant spot light that gets super annoying really, really quick. He's nothing special and he never has been. Yet for whatever reason he still stays in the spotlight long after he has been thoroughly exposed as a B level fighter AT BEST. Khan has taken even worse beatings than Mike Alvarado, so why isn't Mike Alvarado forgiven for his loses and get as much attention??? Or what about Jorge Linares. He has just as much, if not more, "eye catching" skills than Khan. Yet when he was TKO'd he was sent into obscurity for years (like he should have). Yet Khan can lose and get KO'd on multiple occasions, and yet still be on the run for a Floyd fight?
You would think that's all that matters but around I get the feeling there was a time a lot of Brits were parading him as a HOF'er far too early, and that's why people don't like him around here.
Just what is there to like about him 1. He ran over an old dude, drunk driving and speeding in his race car. 2. He talks so much **** about other guys, he's so disrespectful 3. He always compares himself to Mayweather/Pacquiao and talks about how he would beat them with relative ease 4. He always talks bullocks, says stuff like, "I have one of the best chins in the game," "I'm the fastest fighter in the game" etc etc 5. Non stop bs.
He'd be more likable if he didn't speak English to express himself. That's what saves Cotto to an extent.
