Hes a serious boxer, he trains for whole months, he doesnt find excuses if he loses, in the face of criticism, mockeries and insults he is always serene, he always tries to improve his style, he hits hard, he doesnt duck anybody, he doesnt use trash talking and above all he is genuine person. The champion this sport deserves. For all this stuff people want AJ to become soon the absolute undisputed HW champion. Whats your opinion about this?
His master Eddie snake oil hearns will never allow unification unless he can dictate every single term on the opponent.........AJ packs glass, undeniable and eventually one of those hand picked paid to loose subs will do the trick again like the nobody Ruiz did.......then we get into a 30 feet ring against the same no hoper, run a track meet and declare it FOTC........that is exactly how it will play again, rinse and repeat
AJ is what he was prior to the first Ruiz fight. Heavy handed yet flawed boxer, who luckily for him is in a weak division mixed with **** poor quality fighters and the very good old guard on their way out. Is AJ good for boxing? Of course he is, but that doesn’t make him great.
What makes you say this? AJ got up from a massive right hand from Klitchko, not many ppl stand up from those, was on his feet when he got stopped in the Ruiz fight and haven’t been KO’d as a pro. AJ’s chin might not be granite but it’s far from glass.
I don't think anyone is denying AJ's obvious flaws, but he's a people's champion. I just like seeing guys like him win.... unless he keeps coming with that "so nice, I had to do it twice" crap! That crap was more cringe worthy than Pacquiao's mom putting curses on people in the audience.
I think he is a little boring for promotional things, it looks like he doesn't have that dog in him, his fighting style before Ruiz II made up for it though. What I like about Wilder, Fury, Whyte and even Chisora, is that they just talk that trash and really sell the animosity of boxing. Trash talk makes the promo way better in my opinion. Might not be everyones cup of tea though
I just can't take AJ that seriously after he quit against Ruiz. Holmes, Ali, Louis...they wouldn't have quit like that. Holyfield. Nope.
He sucks thats it few facts: 1. his best win against klitscho was against a 41 year old that wasnt in the ring more then a year prior to that and who already showed signs of aging in his last 2 fights before that. 2. he lost to a guy that is 5 11 and would probably be a super middle weight if he would get on a solid diet. And the guy wasnt even fully prepared and came of a nother fight 3. his olympic medal was a gift when he gets massacred by wilder he is going to look to the mirror and realize how much luck he had his whole life, making so much money while beeing so bad at boxing.
He is cringe full stop. All his answers to questions are like listening to a 14yo trying to act intelligent/philosophical.
