Why ppl still bringing up about Vitali quitting vs Bryd that happen over 11 years ago

In fairness Vitali fought for 7 rounds with that shoulder injury

 

Naturally they are bitter toward Vitali for chasing 2 of their best heavyweights of the past decade into retirement.

 

I'd say Vitali has been a dominant heavyweight for over a decade. He was WBO champ while Lennox was a co-champ. He had a freak injury to Byrd and then came back and outboxed Lewis until the bad cut stopped that fight. Lennox Lewis ran faster than Carl Lewis away from a rematch against Vitali which he knew he would lose. Vitali then starched Johnson who had starched Maskaev who had starched Rachmen who had brutalized Lennox lewis. Vitali then conquered Corrie Sanders who had K.oed little bro and then wiped the floor with Williams who had *****-slapped Tyson. Vitali retired and then came back to slaughter and humiliate champion Sam Peter in one of the most comprehensive beatdowns in heavyweight history rivaling Sugar Ray Leonard's comeback victory over Marvelous Marvin Hagler. Hagler fought bravely and lost by inches. Vitali crushed the hapless champion Peter in a one-sided beating. He beat the African powerpuncher like he caught him stealing chickens. Vitali has since then totally dominated all opposition like few greats have ever done. He is the man and would only be challenged by his brother who is also an all-time great heavyweight.
