But PRIMARY and FIRST AND FOREMOST its really ridicolous how things have evolved in the last 5-10 when it comes to how fighters of Ali´s generation getting overrated as hell, and fighters like Tyson himself getting underrated as hell.

Yes, i say a 22-25 years old Ali (1964-1967) most probably beats a 20-23 years old Tyson (1986-1989), but this doesnt mean Tyson is not superior in some fields to all of Alis opponents in one package.

You have to be blind not to see that a prime Tyson is MUCH (not a little bit i mean MUCH) faster than a prime Frazier, prime Foreman oder prime Liston.
Prime Patterson only can match Tysons handspeed, but not his overall movements.

Fact is: Tyson has only an average heart or sligthy below, even his extrem fanboys still deny this. You can only judge after results, and even if Tedy Atlas statment about Mike never overcame adversitiy (he did against Bruno), his heart was nothing special and he could be broken mentally.

But fact is also Tyson had a total package of speed, power in both hands (contrary to Frazier) and agility that no Foreman, Fazier, Liston, Shavers or any of Alis opponents had.
But this gets denied today.

Even Atlas who is so critical towards Tyson says he would beat Frazier because Frazier had only one strong hand. Yes Joe has much more heart but he would most likely have ended like he did against Foreman.
Tyson had the speed and the DELIVERY SYSTEM (totally underrated this factor by many fight fans) to get in and hurt someone incredibly fast.

Some guys like Shavers have tremendous power (you can call him the hardest puncher in HW history) yes, but Earniers delivery system was not 20% of Tysons.

Delivery system = ability to bring your power and/or speed to the opponent to do damage.

Many ppl have tremendous power for example, but they never deliver their full power to the opponent since they dont have the delivery system to do so.

I am sure if Valuev punches someone who stands still with his 148 kg (328 lb) could maybe bring more damage as even Shavers could, but Valuev simply had absolut zero delivery system at all, his punches were cheap and he was only able to deliver maybe 60% of his power to the opponent.

Buttom line:

NO doubt Ali is the leading candidate for being the GOAT in HW and its 100% correct!

But it doesnt change the overhyping of some of his opponents getting ridicolous man!

A shortly after prime Foreman lost to Jimmy Young because the guy moved so well. And a prime Tyson can move well too. Of course a prime Formen kills anyone who stands in front of him, but he will always have trouble with guys who can move and have a at least solid chin.

Would a 70s formen destroy a 95 Axel Schulz in 1-2 rounds?
If you aks me no!
Why?
Because Axel had a very good chin and his biggest strenght was his footwork. He moved always in and out, left to right, right to left, etc., and could take punches, Foreman would always have his troube with him.

But a prime Tyson would KO my countryman Axel in 5-8 rounds because of his speed, power, agility and delivery system.

ali for goat on resume is overrated bad he only has that cause the names he beat

he didnt beat the best skilled hws I dont think he could beat lennox who is the tallest skilled hw of all time

and ali had trouble with joe and joe wasnt close to lennox skills

fury gives ali trouble
mike I think could beat 70s ali who was real tough but easy to hit he was to cocky

Holmes would be a tough match
and other names would beat ali to

why cant people stop overrating ali just cause he was the goat back then doesn't mean he beats every hw he had obvious easy to take advantage of flaws
