Yeah Tyson was levels above Foreman. I think no one wants to believe Tyson would beat one of Ali's best wins more convincingly than Ali did. But I'm going to slay more sacred cows and make a thread on why Tyson starches Sonny Liston. Which he would.

Anything is possible, but not anything is probable. The whole idea of Foreman beating Tyson relies on him pushing and shoving and making Tyson fall with an uppercut or two. Much lesser fighters survived what Foreman could dish longer than many think Tyson would. And Tyson H2H is surely one of the best ever. Lyle taking clean shots from Foreman and not automatically falling over tells me Tyson wouldnt

And even the fresh out the joint 1996 version of Tyson would stop Lyle as quickly and easily as he did Bruno, unless Lyle did lots of holding.

He was talking about the Dempseys, Marcianos and Fraizers of the world anyway. Foreman would more appropriately be matched against Dempsey rather than a young Tyson.

What do you think would have happened if the Tyson who beat Ruddock was in the ring with Lyle, the first puncher Foreman ran up against? Tyson had a similar layoff before Bruno 1.

The Lyle debacle would have happened in any case. And I hope we can agree that 88 Mike Tyson >>>>> Lyle in everything.

Rumors abounded that Quarry was avoided because he worked Foreman over in sparring. If he hated Quarry's counter punching, he'd detest Tysons.

Mike has no idea what he is writing about.

The Foreman who fought Lyle was George at his worst. It has no bearing on a Foreman at his best vs Tyson except the end result which would be a Foreman KO.

Aside from stylistic advantages Foreman had ATG will to win that Tyson always lacked.

Thats not a rumor foreman admitted to ducking Quarry. He even feared Shavers bc he thought he hit to hard. This is how gullible fighters can be when over run by hype without the internet age that they can study and see around them more. lol

I actually had to show foreman why he was the better fighter and harder hitter than shavers that he changed his mind ,it makes you wonder what these guys are looking at for real? lol

But hes going to intimidate Tyson? o_O

Foreman does well against the Mercers and Bonecrusher Smiths of the world even the Michael Moorers and Bert Coopers. A young Mike Tyson too skilled too fast too powerful all in 1 package.

If he ducked Quarry, would he even had fought Tyson in the 1970s? Especially after witnessing the destruction that he would rain down upon a hopelessly overmatched and helpless Jerry Quarry.

There would be no way around Tyson bc Tyson would be the foreman of his day and thus a huge road block for Ali and co. to follow suit. Quarry wasnt a killer,he was a tough slugger who also cut easy, why foreman ducked him? who knows. Everyone talks up MENTAL toughness?

Tyson wanted to destroy anyone who was lined up next even went out of his way to fight Ruddock a guy that makes Foreman look small and he hit harder..and fought him teice out of voluntary decision bc he wanted to show Ruddock was not the boogeyman everyone ran from including Foreman.

Stupid. Rudduck was not 5% the fighter Foreman was in his prime. Rudduck had one punch....a left hook/uppercut which is the worst blow to try to load up vs a hooker like Tyson. Rudduck a nothing. Foreman an ATG. Note the difference.

No offence but you really need to study boxing a bit more. As this just sounds like nothing but fanboy talk.
