Well theres another reason why he wouldnt beat RJJ. If a fighter hasnt got an element off fear, then hes either lying or hes in trouble. Fear can be a positive, can make you fight better. There are better men then Benn who have openly admitted fear going into a fight

Nitwit, he didn't fer fighting anyone, he would put his body on the line, as shown when he decimated RJJ nemisis Gman.

Are you talking about the amateurs? Are you really that ****ing stupid to say Roy was prime in the amateurs?

In another thread you also said Jones was near prime when he fought Calzaghe and Calzaghe was shot.. So you are saying Roy Jones had a prime spanning 25 or so years?:patsch

You are a ****ing moron if you think this **** is true.

Jones had no Chin and no Heart. None. He handpicked 98% of his fights and refused to fight the best fighters available to him.

    So true...

Wait, didn't he beat the best other two fighters besides himself in his era? Toney and Hopkins?

    Bye pinhead!

Roy's whole legacy is built on those 2 fights both of which were atrociously boring. Jones has one of the worst Chins I have ever seen and they guy looked like dog **** when he fought Southpaws. Jones is a myth he refused to fight the big fights instead he chose to cherrypick his way though weight classes fighting for vacant trinket belts. The guy is a fraud and a disgrace.

Have you ever even seen the Jones vs. Gman amateur fight? You talk like you know what you are talking about... It was a points win for McClellan, not a knockout, and Roy dislocated G-Man's jaw... It was in no way a smashing. I swear you Brits love the word "smash":-(

    His credentials speak for themselves.

A fraud could not accomplish all of this, and his punch resistance did not fade till he was a shot fighter. Sorry, but you are the biggest joke on ESB besides that *** Anglosaxon and his butt buddy.:deal

the guy did nothing but fight for vacant belts, handpick fights, and duck anyone that could punch. Oh, and lets no forget that wet paper Chin he had either.:rofl:patsch

There is not one victory in boxing history where their are not excuses like this that can be made, especially by a bias idiot like yourself.

Jones schooled both of them, Hopkins was in his physical prime, and Toney was prime. Sorry.

Then you have people like your boyfriend that say Jones was near prime and Calzaghe was shot in their fight, and you think you can go the opposite way and justify trying to discredit Roy's wins over Hopkins and Toney?

Jones should have fought more people, he start ok by beating the top American young middlewieights but unfortuantly he seemed to fear the british. when he got old he let Calazghe fly to america and slap him about but would have loved to have seen RJJ against Benn or Eubank (though I dont think Eubank would have taken the risk - I am sure Benn would have jumped at the chance).

You can't name anyone he ducked and provide proof... You are an idiot dude.

You talk bull**** you can't back up.

A wet paper chin would have been destroyed before the age of 35 and 4 weight classes including Heavyweight if it was always there. I don't deny his punch resistance went way downhill, everything he was good at went way downhill, it happens, he is shot to ****, he has been for years, what the **** do you expect out of him?
