Good luck to you....if Briggs gets up it will be a shocking result.

I'm looking at this match and asking questions.

One question I would like to put to all the Green haters and the doubters of his reasons for comming out of retirement is:

Why are you all not as circumspect about Briggs return????

Green coped and stills cops criticism for his return and I cant find a single post from anyone on here offering the same appraisal of Briggs.

Green has had 4 fights and 4 KO's in his return. He is in white hot form and Briggs is in for a very tough nite at the office.
    Briggs loses then what??

I can't speak for anyone else, but I am a little sus about his return.
However this is his first come back fight, so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt.
Not yet, but he might in 4 fights time if he's doing a similar thing to Green.
You can't be serious? White hot form?
Green has won against 4 has-beens, that's hardly a spectacular achievement.
If Briggs is 100% he's gonna paste Green. :deal
Who knows, but I'm sure he'll cop just as big a bagging as Green if he plays the same game. Well, by me anyway.

    I agree, if Briggs ain't 100%.

Back to Green, he's not exactly what I'd call active and 100% ring fit either, he's only fought 11 rounds in 2 1/2 years himself.
Greens form is hardly devastating, and no better than it ever has been IMO.

because Briggs retired for health reasons Green retired because he got the easy LHW belt and didnt defend it once because of an epiphany and concern for his future a reminder.

Greens retirement was a calculated, bull**** retirement to avoid the good fighters at LHW.Pauls was not and Greens return.to prove to the doubters he he had what it takes to mix it with the big boys and reclaim his belt?

no to call out Mundine when he was middleweight.Paul is just coming back for a payday.he too me doesnt appear as full of **** as Green or Mundine.thats why i have no problem with Briggsy's comeback.

    Fair enough Sox.

White hot might be overstating but the momentum he is riding off his last 4 wins psychologically is a big factor.....plus home crowd and now the speculation about Briggs and his health.

Even though Briggs is trying to quell the talk on the street the talk is still buiding....the concern cant all be without merit.

    Well said.

But no comment on where you think Briggs is really at and whether or not what he is doing is worth the risk?

Briggs and green use to beat the **** out of each other in sparring, they are great mates so any talk about what they want to do to each other is showtime, at least this time Briggs wil get paid to get go to war this time, and the last time they saprred when Briggs was in his prime he got flogged.

well he reckons his health is fine and he appears confident.the 3 years off is a worry though.he might be getting good money so figures its worth the risk.

    No question.
This can be a very very good fight which can go either way if Briggs is 100% healthy.
It will be a early KO to Green if Briggs is not healthy.

It all rests on whether Briggs is realthy or not, let's hope he is.

Neither. The story I heard was that in the first bit Green was getting pwned by Briggs, then came back to smash Briggs with a left hook to the chin and they went body-only for the rest.
