Why R People Overrating Vitali's Win Against Adamek?

i'm afraid vitali takes 1 to many fights,and he will most of them do.in a better division he'd be retired by now

 

Is that strange, after Chef said Vitali was a bit riled over not being able to take Briggs out, and was going to work on his KO form.

I guess he knew he could stop him or take him out, but wanted to give the polish arena some value for their money. Let them see their pride and joy at least be allowed to last several rounds instead of putting him out quickly.

I also though Vitali seemed to intentionally not followup on an obviously hurt Adamek.

 

if I am third in a steaming pile of **** that doesnt make me quality. the gap between 2-3 (or 4,5) is huge . there is also a gap between the top 5 and the rest of the pack . . . this division is utter garbage. I like adamek, but like i feared, he had no game plan going into the fight and even worse had no power at all (which I had overrated). it was a solid win because he was a legit top 3-5 guy but it only exposed how shitty the division has become. It has moved him from just outside the top 25 into the top 25 ATG at heavy, because he did look his best since LL at age 40 . . . but it wasn't the best performance I have seen by a heavy . . . or even a superheavy.

Exactly. Add in the fact that both Adamek and Haye are 6'3 215-225. These arent exactly small heavies by any standard.

 

Let's be honest, people. Adamek at heavyweight would lose to somebody like James Tillis on his best night. Vitali deserves credit for his domination, but it's not a great win by any stretch because of the quality of the opponent.

 

AHAHAH the Holy man is GOAT at cruiser . . . are you really trying to compare Haye and Adamek (and i like them both) to the Holyman! Prime holy would be even money with the bros . . . he had power, technique, skill and was a warrior!

...and off topic, Kellerman cracked me up when he said Helenius has a chance to beat the Klitschko's in a year or so. I thought he was behind on points to both Peter and Sergei. The Klitschko brothers would make easy work of his defenseless self.

I dont begrudge Vitali because there is no one to fight. He has shown that he has heart in his fight with LL. He just came along at the wrong time when there is a major drought in the heavy weight division. I think he would have been an excellent fighter in any era.:bbb:bbb:bbb

 

he doesnt suck but its pretty obvious hes not a true heavy. he couldnt even make Kevin big mac bride flinch with his punches.

great win Adamek is no bum but he looked like a cruiser v super heavy last night.

Did you think he had a chance? i didnt i actually thought Viali could have had him out of there in 3 if he really tried.
