Beating up a former LHW is not that impressive a feat. What is impressive is being 40 years old, throwing many more punches than the average HW, and showing no signs of tiring or fading. 40-year old Vitali could have fought 12 rounds at that pace. That alone is pretty amazing.

 

look at Holys physique though. hes not carrying excess weight like adamek or Arreola. plus holy is 49 shot to death and should have been heavy champ against Valuev. what a **** era to be in.

Cruisers or even Light Heavyweights stepping up to the big leagues to challenge the Champion is nothing new and has been a staple of the sport for decades. This goes back to Conn/Louis, Charles/Walcott, Moore/Marciano, Foster/Frazier, Spinks/Holmes, Holyfield/Douglas, Moorer/Holyfield..etc.

 

Because Adamek Fans over rated Adamek, mother ****er barely got by Grant and you all cant even own up to that the kid went into this fight with a false sense of confidence and reality set it in round 1

I thought the fight was incredibly predictable. Apparently Adamek is overrated. I doubt he'd have amounted to anything more at HW in this era than he did in any other era of the last 30 or so years.
