Yes that is true I'm not arguing he lost his ranking in the ring, but when he retired for a 2 year period is sufficient enough time for the next in line to claim the number 1 spot. Can you not agree with that logic?

Sorry I guess I'm tired, are you saying you don't respect his accomplishments because of Bob Arum and his money? Also don't really get all the periods there.

So starting out at 107 lbs. and doing what he is doing now by being favored in virtually every fight he is in, from Welter to Junior Middle isn't the mark of greatness? He isn't the best ever true, maybe not even the greatest right now, but he is pretty ****ing great despite who his scumbag promoter is.

According to the information I have gathered he is set to lose it in the May issue.

And yeah pac is great, what he has achieved is unbelievable, just alot of people myself included prefer mayweather.

Horrible, horrible time to change it.

If they felt that Pacquiao didn't deserve the number one spot after his bout with Marquez, they should have changed it right after that...not months later. :-(

although I have had Mayweather #1 since his return I agree with this. The timing is ridiculous!!!! Why didn't they just change it after the Marquez fight?? What's even more ridiculous is that they have Wonjongkam in their top 10 after being KO'd by a journeyman....Gamboa should take his spot.

oscar needs to hype the mayweather-cotto fight even more. it's the same thing when they bumped mosley up from #5/6 in the p4p list to #3 for the floyd fight even if mosley was inactive for 15 months.

Shane didn't completely stink it up against a guy he was expected to walk right over during those 15 months, so no, it's clearly not the same thing. Nice try though.

how would he stink-up when he was not fighting? he was supposed to be taken out of the p4p list once he is 1 year inactive but the ring instead put him higher to hype the floyd fight.

now after that 15 months of inactivity, it was clear that he was shot in the floyd fight and his next succeeding fights.
