Why Sam Peter's win over Maskaev isn't that great.

No way man. He is the buster douglas of this generation. Rahman was s paper title holder.

 

Peter is a paper chump i mean paper champ.

 

Of course it wasn't a great win,Maskaev is old,slow and just couldn't stay in there with Peter.It was a good win but that is it

 

Peter threw fast shots? Fast for him you mean.

 

You make your best/worst wishes concerning Peter but I want to see people get down on their knees in case and it must happen Sat nite for the sake of moral. Peter hammered Oleg and the ref rescued the Kazag-American in his road to nowhere... People said it was Oleg's fight before and that it ain't mean **** now - this is the clearest case of rotten fruit in the tree of knowledge and that people really are not sure about their favourite in the fight coming up.

 

That's what makes this fight so intriguing...no one is sure what will happen.

Most people are trying to make their best educated guess...but, some people want to take irrational stabs when it's not relevant.

my opinion is that this fight will be exactly like the second fight with Kostya Tszyu/ Sharmba Mitchell.

Not stylistically, but the fact that no one was sure how Kostya Tszyu was going to look after the long absence from the ring...he dominated that fight from start to finish. I think this fight is going to be very similar to that, with Vitali playing the role of Kostya!!

 

It's not Rahman's problem Vitali retired and it's not Vitali's problem Lewis retired. If the title was dropped and the champion was still active then sure we can call him a paper champion but that's not what happened, the actual champion RETIRED.
