Why Setanta is bad for boxing

setanta have been showing some really good fights from all over the world since they have through their hat into the mix, we have been watching more fights

 

i think there will be plenty ordering setanta with the joe calzaghe fight being shown on the channel. i think setanta also have rights for a few of ricky hattons fights

your last paragraph is really spot on. The promotors are not thinking down the road. they just want to make money right now. THATS SOCIETY FOR YOU NOWADAYS. EVERYBODY WANTS EVERYTHING NOW

 

Setanta are new to the game. They are pumping money into it and getting better all the time. Sure they aren't as big as others but that will come with time.

Even when we want to leave Setanta they offer us amazing **** that we can't turn down. So they are trying. They are helping to offer us the biggest bouts out there.

Boxing needs competition. I wanted all the boxing on BBC and ITV but they can't cut it. We need Sky and Setanta in the mix. Even C4 and Five in the mix helps. It's that competition that keeps each other on their toes and makes them want to offer us the big fights.

The only thing we can do is tune in to show that there is a demand for boxing.

Every time a good match has been made and its been advertisied properly I haven't seen it fail.

A good bout easily fills an arena and puts bums on seats.

 

Sky Sports News are bull****, they won't report on anything that they don't show.
