Why should a steroid user like Mosley deserve a shot at Pac? Cotto deserves the shot

All this steroid nonsense and Mosley is getting out of hand. Mosley admitted he took a performance enhancer before the DLH fight but also admitted he DIDN'T KNOW about it till after the fight. It's one of those stuff that the blood tests don't catch so he could have kept it a secret and moved on if he intended to cheat. He never used any of that for other fights after it.

Does a lot less for Pac's legacy if he beats a weight drained fighter though. If he wants to fight welters he should do so at welter.

Exactly, I don't think the OP even knows what EPO is though. I think he thinks it's a mass building steroid that somehow, magically, allows Shane to retain his speed.

Fundamentally sound means that if you didn't have all that speed and still used the same style, you would still be somewhat successful compared to other styles.

Hamed, Mosley, Judah, and even Pacquiao are not fundamentally sound.

Barrera, Marquez, Santos, and Hopkins are fundamentally sound.

Only an idiot would think that, Mosley had speed all his career including amateur.

The old "I took it but I didn't know I was taking it" excuse?

Yeah, that's never been used before.

And at 38 years old, Mosley should be losing his speed. Name one other fighter who has retained that much speed at the age of 38? Roy's speed was diminishing years before he was 38.

Didn't he admit he took it before the DLH rematch?, he could have pulled another old "excuse" and never bring it up, right?

He was forced to bring it up because he was brought before Congress and he would have faced jail time if he had lied.

No, why should a clean boxer like Pac be forced to fight a fighter on steroids like Mosley?

BRB, my friends here I gotta go to the mall to do some shopping. Be back in a couple hours.

Jones still has speed despite his age, what he lacks is stamina to keep it up for 12 rounds. Tyson still had speed all the way, it's not as it was before but still very fast. Hearns took his speed all the way to cruiserweight despite his age, no it wasn't as fast as it used to be but still very fast, Leonard, Robinson, Ali, Calzaghe and many others I could mention.

If you think Mosley's speed now matches what it was before then you need a lesson. Against a zombie like Margarito OF COURSE he will look too fast, Hopkins looked too fast against a zombie like Pavlik too yet looked slow as hell against another fast opponent in Calzaghe. Mosley didn't look THAT fast against Cotto, right?

I think your being a little harsh on Mosley there.... I mean sging fighters nowdays age much better than years ago and experience counts fo alot you know. Look at Hopkins.... look at the Klitschko's! Look at Randy Couture form the UFC.

No, I don't think Mosley takes steroids anymore and when he did it wasn't him feeding them to himself (although he should of been more responsble over it for sure) It was his nutritionist feeding it to him through his food. He lives off a organic diet.... thnat tells me he he don't like artificial components in his body from food.... let alone steroids!

Mosley was only caught because his name was in the Balco files. Mosley never tested positive.

What does that tell you? That there are likely a lot more athletes out there using than you think. Most of them are probably using. Just because they havent been caught or tested bad doesnt mean they dont use. Its everywhere.

Sentences like that strip you of credibility.
