If his punch resistance is bad he will keep losing fights. I say have a couple goodbye fights and go. It's ultimately his call so w/e he does good luck to him.
He just doesn't need to go on. Freddie Roach said "Ricky is a multi-time world champion and only a few people can say that. It is something that I have always wanted to be and I'm probably slightly jealous of him. "That's why I feel he has nothing to prove. He should retire and enjoy his family. It would be sensible because knockouts like that are not good for you. The facts are that Hatton is not the fighter he was, unfortunately age and lifestyle have come to show up his limited fighting style "He has achieved greatness, he has money, give me a good reason why he should fight anymore. " I really couldn't hope to put it better myself.
I think he should retire, he'll want big money and big fights but is no longer in the position to warrant them. The only fight I can think of that would be big in the UK and winnable would be against Amir Khan Fights against the likes of Tim Bradley would be too dangerous for too little reward. When Hatton gets hit he loses composure and revwerts to rashness, the best fighters keep their heads Hatton as had a top career, no shame in losing to the best when you're not on their level.
Hearns punch at 154 on Duran was probably one of the hardest punches landed on a fighters chin with full leverage. I actually give Duran credit for taking all the other right hands Hearns landed. The man can take a punch. Hearns put his all in that punch and Duran, who had a great chin was out cold.
Hatton needs to retire cuz it's not just loosing with him, it's lights-out-sleepy-night-night.:zzz:zzz Not good for his brain to be shook up like that.
