Why should Haye get more than 50/50?

Haye doesnt really want to fight either of the Klitschkos

 

Explain that to the hayniacs, they just cannot realize it....

 

Haye is on some good glue if he hinks that the PPV sales in the UK are going to be More than the PPV sales in Germany.

A 50/50 contract would without a shadow of doubt earn him more money.

I thought that deal was reasnable, Haye isnt well known in Germany and Wlad isnt well known in th UK. It is morally wrong as you say that Haye should in effect get more money but isnt it up to Wlad to find the best possible tv deal etc...?

 

haye deserves the ppv money from uk. that makes sense. im sure if haye was fighting a nobody, uk fans would be lined up around he block to see him. wlad aint got no fans cuz he sucks

Remember the original contract? All Haye got was the UK PPV money and Wlad got the rest.. I'd be happy with that deal again. Haye can keep his UK PPV.

 

I think Haye would be happy with that deal because the UK PPV money is more than the German TV money and Gate receipts put together. Haye is brining more money to this fight with the UK PPV than Wlad is bringing. Haye keeps UK TV money, Wlad keeps German TV money.... split the rest 60-40 to Wlad... but even then Haye would be earning more so what is the solution?

Personally I think 50/50 of everything is a good deal for a fight with two guys who are more or less on the same level like Haye and Wlad are. With that being said I still can understand where Haye would want all the UK PPV revunue and Wlad all the German revunue. Haye is the draw in the UK Wlad the draw in Germany. I know some here just can't get past their own personal likes and dislikes of the two but I don't think what Haye is asking for is as absurd as some here are saying. This also speaks to Wlad's drawing power in the UK as Haye feels (and rightly so) that the UK revunue will be mostly generated by him. I'd take the 50/50 but like him or not Haye has a point.

I wish Haye would fight the K bro's however I can understand the tv money split. Haye has put the hours in on mainstream uk tv, from Jonathan Ross to soccer am to Graham Norton (brits will agree that's worth the extra split right there) and is famous with non boxing fans. With any fight the sun and notw would give him pages of copy in the build up. Aside from the odd 2 lines the only time I have seen vlad in paper was when he was with his girlfriend shopping in la. Not to do with him being a world champion.
