Why shouldn’t judges scores be shown after every round?

After round 4 and after round 8 though. Not every single round. Canelo vs. Trout I believe was the largest stage. I can recall a few other matches but nothing like that. For Trout scores made him fight in a manner that he wouldn't have.

It kills the final bell excitement and the ring announcer's final announcement.
Most of all, it will kill the judges' side battings and under the table paychecks :p

It wouldn't help against corruption and favoritism, as we have seen ridiculous judges cards afterwards with rounds that should clearly go the other way, and nothing was done.
WBC's open scoring didn't change much to the scoring at all, which some pretty sh__ty cards have shown in the past.
As long as judges can get away with crooked scorecards with lame excuses even in the "investigated" cases, open scoring only helps for the away/non-featured fighter to know he's getting scewed and take the extra risk trying for a KO.

It dose but gives you a chance if you're losing on points might lead to more K.o's

But you'd be arriving at knockouts in contrived ways and the fighter could even use it as an excuse for why he ended up getting knocked out. Plain and simple, the announcing of judges scores during a match detracts from the boxing match. Especially in this day and age of outrage and robbery claims over every decision, you'd be taking that into a more extreme direction. It would be all anyone ends up talking about. It's better for everyone to not know how the official judges have it until after the match is completed. That allows you as a fan to focus on the match and get swept away in the moments as they unfold. You don't want to do anything to detract from that.

You're already giving it your all just by competing. You shouldn't need judges to tell you you are losing to know that you need to perform. There's plenty of matches where one fighter is perceived to be dominating and winning almost every round and you pretty much know by the 8th or 9th round that the other guy doesn't have a chance unless he wins by KO to at least get multiple knockdowns. You don't need to know the exact scoring scenarios to know that the fighter losing needs to turn it around and make something happen. If he's not skilled enough to win rounds then he already knows by the 2nd half of the match that he needs a KO.

If they don't like what you're doing try something else
and I've always thought Canelo won vs trout knockdown made the difference

The cards after 8 really scream close fight where the knockdown made the difference. But I'm not here to argue how Canelo constantly gets ridiculous cards in his favor. Anybody can see that.

This is an example of where boxing did not benefit from open scoring.

Did you watch it live? The scores after the 8th killed the excitement of the fight.

Except for Vegas judges their cards are determined when they get the assignment as we all know
